    Nice blue night light.
    Installed these blue lights outside. Two 33’ sections installed in series. Found these pictured low voltage clips at Home Depot to fasten them to wall. ($4.00 per 15 clip package.)Installed into brick building with 1 1/4” Tapcons at 12” intervals. Wired to photo cell to come on automatically at nightfall. Appear well made and very sturdy. These only illuminate on one side of the strip, they are directional so they need to be mounted. Should hold up to Chicago winters just fine. Just wanted some security light for dark gangway, enough for neighbors to see there was no one lurking in the pitch dark gangway but not bright enough to keep you awake with bright lights shining into bedrooms. I like the “police blue” hue and would recommend.

    I had no idea I would get a rope light, but when I saw the way it’s made with the flat side , I decided to try it. I put it behind a faux beamI had installed above my kitchen cabinets. I must say, it turned out really well. Love all the different colors, according to the mood in the home. Anyone thinking about this flat rope light , don’t hesitate. If you install it right, it will look tasty.

    Enjoying the colors I can choose but my only complaint is that I did not receive a how to set colors myself because it came without a remote programming how to book. I can’t seem to pick and set my 3 color choices myself. I have you tube info but most of those vague with not it of help. But totally love the rope lighting and plan to purchase more. Hope to get programming help by emailing the company directly.

    Changeable, multi-color led string lights.
    These are perfect 👌 outside or inside string lights. There are 7 changeable colors. You can do soo much with them, adjust color, blinking, fading, brightness, speed, rotate just 3 colors or all 7. I hung 3 connected strings on my front porch. And 1 string around rear glass door. My old string lights only had 1 color – green. And they just lit up or not. These are much brighter and I don’t have to be satisfied with just 1 color. Very pleased.. and These even came with a remote. Great 👍 price for them , and fast delivery , too. Tim

    The Controller failed after only 5 months.
    The Pros: Overall, the strip is good and performs as promised. It’s bright, and the colors vivid.The Cons: The problem is with the controller the strip plugs into. The strip is rated for outdoor use, but the controller requires you “protect” it from the elements. Depending on your solution to this, it might impede the ability of the remote to communicate with the controller. The remote and controller are also line of sight so can be a bit finicky.July 2020 Update: After only 5 months the rope light failed. 5 months is unacceptable. After troubleshooting it, I found the problem was the controller. As I had bought 3 of these lights to string together, I had an extra controller. Without one, I would have been out of luck. Hopefully this controller will last more than 5 months.

    Great for cabinets on top for up wash or below for standard down accent lighting
    I used this light set for under cabinet lights which they worked great for. The small screws were a bit of challenge and really aren’t great at self tapping (small pick to start the hole in the wood I was securing the light fasteners did the trick. Not a Hughes issue though but if you’re planning on putting them in a downward facing position be forewarned they’re not the best hardware. Also if you’re going to install them in a straight line it’s best to unroll the string and let it lay flat for a while so you don’t have an buckling happen while you’re installing them. I plugged them in a switchable outlet but they’d work with a remote control setup as well. The color is pretty with and well above 3k but not that obnoxious blue/white – they’re still yellowish/ warm which is what I needed.
