My Ring doorbell operated on a rechargeable battery. Power adapter being connected to it means I donât have to recharge the battery any longer. Iâm at this home only 5 months a year, so when it went dead, doorbell didnât work. Solar charger isnât made it and it isnât in sun at all.

Good price, working well now for six months without issues.I have the main unit in the garage with the wire routed to my Ring doorbell on our outer fence. The cord length is great and at a length we were looking for. It also had easy-to-attach terminals at the end of the wire.No issues. Transformers remains cool and have not had any problems. Would recommend this unit.
