    Better and cheaper than other panels I have
    I use and have been really happy with bicolor light panels I have from a competitor and got these since I needed something fast and cheap before a shoot. Instead of being a quick fix, these are now my go to light panels for the road.The color temperature is pretty spot on, the brightness is great and I appreciate some of the little features like locks to hold in the batteries. The build quality is much better than I expected, on par with others I have. I haven’t found much use for the RGB range or color presets at this point so I don’t have much experience with that, but I do like knowing that the option is there if I want to get more creative than merely lighting a subject.The brightness range is dimmer on batteries, but the 1200s are still just as bright as other panels I use on batteries while being much brighter once plugged in. The package including a carrying case and tripods is also a nice touch. With a $50 coupon Amazon had at the time I got this, this set of two lights was about the same cost of one light and a stand from the other set of panels I have.I did also buy these with two of the optional softboxes, they’re not necessary for everything but they are a good nice to have that’s made to fit and folds up small enough to easily fit in the same carrying case as the light panels. If you get these, make sure you have a screwdriver or key on hand as you will need it to loosen the machine tightened thumb screws that hold the barn doors in place the first time you remove them.Will see how these hold up with time, but for now I am extremely happy with what I got.

    They pack a punch!
    These lights are solid! I’ve tried or own Arri, Rifa and other high-end light options out there, but I honestly reach for these every time. I love that I can control the lighting using my phone – the tempsture and color is awesome and they’re very easy to travel with, especially for a lighter-moving production crew.They offer great value for the price. If you’re considering them, don’t hesitate; they definitely provide plenty of light. For instance, the room in the picture I shared was very dark, but the videos turned out great!

    Ok, let’s start with the lights. Excellent shine and durability. The construction is good and durable. I bought these lights in May 2019 and today in January 2021 they are still working like the first day with quite heavy use every week.The quality of the stands is good enough and the controls are very easy to use. They are worth every penny of their price, for video and photography, they make a huge difference! The two colors help you to give the look you want to the skin very easy.The only small problem is a design flaw with the barn doors, which when the light is tilted, they collide with the light bracket. Nothing that detracts from the value of the lights.Verdict: fully recommended.Let’s talk about customer service for a minute:At the end of 2020, one of the power supplies failed me. It just stopped working. I called customer service with the intention of getting a replacement (and if it was necessary to buy it) and the person who attended me (who was extremely kind) sent me a courtesy power supply from the company !! what can I say?In addition to being surprised, I was more than happy to find a company that endorses their products in that way, this inspires me to continue buying Neewer, because I know that not only is the product good and has a competitive price, but if something fails, the company is serious about taking care of its customers. **********10 stars for you.P.S; a request to Neewer: Please add 3pin DMX control to these LED panels !!Ok, comencemos con las luces. Excelente brillo y durabilidad. La construcción es buena y durable. Compré estas luces en Mayo 2019 y hoy en enero 2021 todavía siguen funcionando como el primer día con un uso bastante intensivo todas las semanas.La calidad de los stands es buena suficiente y los controles muy fáciles de usar. Valen cada centavo de su precio, para video y fotografía, marcan una diferencia enorme!! Los dos colores te ayudan a darle el look que tu quieres a la piel muy fácil.El único pequeño problema es una falla de diseño con las barn doors, que cuando esta la luz inclinada, chocan con el soporte.     Son excelentes, llegó a tiempo y en buenas condiciones. Las dos luces funcionan adecuadamente, viene para regular la temperatura, se puede usar fácilmente con la aplicación del celular que descargas desde la appa store o la play store. Son de excelente calidad. Sirven muy bien para grabar cortometrajes o incluso largometrajes, no creo que le lleguen a lo profesional pero como apoyo si funcionan muy bien, para los que estudian cine estas luces les pueden servir demasido durante la carrera, se las recomiendo totalmente.

    The lights are surprisingly high quality for the money. Metal housings, metal barn doors, removable diffusers, very nice controls. LEDs are extremely bright and responsive, great color range and very little heat.The app works much better than people give it credit for, and makes one-person shoots much easier. Lots of great features like a color match (uses your phone camera to select a subject or background and match the lights) as well as several presets and the ability to group and manage lights and store settings.The tripods aren’t super high quality; metal frames, plastic brackets, but they’re serviceable. Definitely an indoor unit, but they should last as long as they’re not abused.The carrying bag is decent, though more padding would have been nice.Overall a great value for the money; I own two sets now and I’ll never go back to my old fluorescent or halogens.

    You get everything you need from this package.Two awesome light panels with a soft carry for each light. Two light stands are also provided, they are not for heavy duty and might wobble at full height, the base must be extended fully to support it. Might need a spike buster or travel adapter for the plugs. Connecting to the app and controlling via it was seamless for me. However app is optional only, we have knobs that lets us fine tuning. Overall a very good product.
