For the home automation nerds, this thing is great!
Another solid, well-made item from Sonoff. I was on the fence when they came out, but now there’s good support in HomeAssistant (I particularly like the BluePrint), and they’ve been discounted by 25% for the last few months, so I jumped in and picked two up to try (and I think I’ll get a two more after writing this).I’ve got a heated floor thermostat that I want to replace with a “smart” one. The smart guy is $300+, or I can put a NSPanel there, have it control the floor, and do so much more for one-sixth the price.Step 1: flash ESPHome onto these. I was a Tasmota guy until I got these, I’d been watching ESPHome the last year or two, but this got me to jump on the ESPHome bandwagon (and reflash about 15 Tasmota devices over to ESPHome). One suggestion: Some of the YouTube videos suggest you can just hold the jumper in place while flashing. Don’t do this – just solder it in (and then un-solder when done). It’s much easier in the long run. There’s a learning curve with the HA BluePrint – I suggest just get it installed and have it control a light or two. Then over a few days/weeks, add another thing here and there as you get the feel for it. A neat little integration I have on the one in my home office now is HA uses the Uber API to determine the current commute time to my work, and displays it on the NSPanel’s home screen. So at a glance I can see if my commute is going to be normal, or I need to budget in a few extra minutes.I’m very tempted to remove a star because the two physical buttons are only on/off relays (I really wish they could dim, and I’ve had to install some Hue bulbs to get around this), but I’ll leave it at 5â.

Looks great! Highly recommend!
Would buy again! Working well after year and have not had any issues. Functions great with alexa. I have one button for my living room lamp and the other programmed to cut on all outdoor lights for emergency purposes.

Does not work as advertised
This company advertises this product in ‘portrait’ mode, but my product does not support that. When I searched for support, someone stated it happens to some of them and not others. So, I guess it’s a gamble on whether you will get one that works or not.

Like the look
Converted these over to home assitant. The main issue is the viewing angle you’ll find yourself bent over trying to see the screen. It’s nice to have the physical switches for non tech people in your home.

Home Assistant Panels
I’m putting these on every entry/exit point in my house, these have been flashed to ESP32, and onboarded into Home Assistant. I did not even have to solder the wires.

Mixed feelings
I just bought two to replace Wink and try them. For the price very inexpensive compared to others.. If your just starting in home automation good way start if planning on using Alexa and Sonoff only.. But for people who already invested in other systems was hoping to get a lot more out of this device. The old saying you get what you pay for definitely applies. I have feeling in long run I be using Brilliant switchâs. Donât get me wrong comparability issues can be addressed with IFTTT.. But for starters was really and mean really disappointed by the fact as smart switches goes this one kinda dumb.. why because simple flaw a lot smart switches have same issue with. When using smart bulbs power needs to remain on for bulbs but ability to remote control the bulbs, and or using this switch to control as stand alone remote with power into switch that has no functionality with power out.. As bad as Wink got with screw users over the Wink Relay switch had this ability limited to Wink supported devices or using IFTTT.. Further more was shocked Lutron who is support by every one under sun is not supported by Sonoff, also seeming limited supported Amazon Alexa devices such as Ring, MYQ.. So in final statement if your reading this spend the money and buy the Brilliant switch wonât be disappointed.. Still thinking about just returning my two Sonoff switch because I just donât have time to keep writing IFTTT commands to do to get Smart Remote Switch, all though I have thought one feature I did find on Sonoff was nice if use for fan switch ability to turn fan on and off by setting a temperature setting.. I will give that to Sonoff and yes you can use touch screen to control other devices compatible with sonoff but simple put I want way to program the two buttons faster then scrolling through a screen.

Programming it was difficult
Overall, we’re happy with this panel, but it did take quite a bit of work to program it to do what we wanted even though both my husband and I are programmers. Wouldn’t recommend it for someone with no experience.
