    Needed something for my TV stand to illuminate the turntable and other shelves. After a couple mods to the stand, I was able to mount the strip. Had just the perfect length for it and works great with music and works nicely together with my Govee TV strip for DreamView.

    The Govee Light 2 Pro is incredible! The variety of lighting options, especially when paired with the intuitive app, really sets it apart. I’ve yet to find anything better in terms of customization, colors, ease of use, and quality. Highly recommended. I HAVE BOTH THIS ONE AND THE COB ONE. I PREFER THIS ONE BECAUSE THE COLORS BLENDING/ANIMATIONS ARE UNMATCHED

    For the price I’d definitely expect a lot more than 16 feet.
    4-star rating is for the product itself and does not account for the price.I’ve been working with multicolor LEDs for over 15 years making all kinds of custom art projects and installations. And what I see here is a severely overpriced product. If you simply buy an “individually addressable” LED strip, a DC power supply, and a “WLED Controller” you’ll have the same if not better (with better sound reactivity and more options for animations and color pallete selection) for less than half the price. Maybe even 1/3 the price.That said, if you’d rather have a product that has everything included and just works straight out of the box, and you’re willing to pay double to get it… Then these will suit you just fine 👍 😎.Hope that helps you decide – cheers! 🍻

    ✰ Product features and performance evaluationIn terms of this product alone, the light tested down is very bright. I bought a long and a short light strip, the long one will come with a white adapter while the short one will only have the remote control. And the thing I was most worried about at first (the light strip being fragile) didn’t happen. This light strip uses a clear layer of material to protect the electronics inside, so it’s very reliable as far as durability goes.✰ Advantages and disadvantages of the productI’ve been using this light for two days and one of the very prominent pros is that this light has a very good sticking power. It’s perfect for both tables and under beds. And to my surprise, the double sided tape on the back of this light strip can even stick on top of fabric after observing it for the past two days. This is something similar products like Nanoleaf can’t do.Again, a big downside is that this product might be a little too expensive, but for me personally that’s nothing and the quality and the wow factor this product has for me is totally worth the price.✰ Does the product live up to its claimsThis product is as advertised and even a little better than I expected. However, you still have to buy it based on your own personal preferences when it comes to buying it specifically. (see last paragraph)✰ Compare the product with similar productsI have bought other brands such as Nanoleaf’s LED light strips, but what I think stands out the most in comparison is the convenience of this product. Because compared to nanoleaf, I’ve always found all of Govee’s products to have very good connectivity and a very well thought out app. If you’ve previously purchased other Govee products and linked to the Govee and Amazon Alexa apps like I have, it can be connected to Amazon Alexa the moment it’s linked to the app (or you could say that Alexa can detect it instantly). This is so much better for me compared to Nanoleaf’s agonizing connection and completely confusing Thread Network.✰ AdviseIf you’re someone who doesn’t care that much about the price, whether it’s audio response, stickiness, aka durability, Govee can definitely give you the results you expect to want. But however you think that $150 CAD is too expensive, you might want to wait for coupons, try buying it when the price drops for events, or buy other products from the same brand, which I’m sure won’t disappoint you as well.Written by 北斗
