Simple and Efficient! âââââ
I wish I’d found these sooner! I purchased the 2-pack, and now I am going to buy 2 more! These are the best gadgets I’ve purchased in a long time. Easy to install, easy to add to wifi, easy to use app! Just overall simple to use – and very efficient! Perfect for programming the timer, alternating the times, and using on your phone via the app, if you forget to turn on the lamp or didn’t schedule the programmer. Five Stars! âââââ

Easy to set up
These plugs were really easy to connect to the app made for the plugs, and they can be linked to the Amazon Alexa app extremely easy as well. The app allows you to create a schedule for turning on/off, and so far it has worked flawlessly. Great value and great product!!

Works with Alexa, after a couple days.
At first I didnât think it was going to sync with the Alexa. But after a couple of nights it seems like I did. It does not work with my Insta on system however. So I have to use Alexa specifically for this outlet.

Great little devices, but…
I picked up two of these devices based on their ability to work with dual band networks to replace some older WiFi smart plugs from another vendor. Initially, the setup was quick and easy. Download the Android app, discover the plugs, configure the plugs, add UltraPro to a linked connection with Google Home, and done! The first device took all of 5 minutes start to finish. The second one however was much more of a challenge, but not because of the plug itself, but because of my WiFi.My WiFi is powered by an Asus ZenMax WiFi mesh router with a single satellite router to connect the other end of the house from the main router. I configured both plugs in my front room (closest to the main router) and they both worked fine. Moved one plug to it’s permanent home (even closer to the main router) and it worked fine. The second plug was to be furthest from the main router, but very close to the satellite router. Best I can figure is that the satellite router, despite broadcasting both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wireless bands, was broadcasting something just different enough that I could not utilize the plug in the location I wanted to with the wireless being setup as is.My solution was to enable a Guest WiFi network which only broadcasted at 2.4Ghz, connect my phone to that network, go into the UltraPro app and then I was finally able to add and configure the second plug in the location where it was to stay. It functions correctly through both the app on my phone over the 5Ghz network as well as through my Google Home. While annoying, I do not place blame on the smart plug. This was a challenge with my particular WiFi setup. Hopefully this will help others in the future. We plan to pick up a couple more as well.

I feel smarter already
I have two of these connected to lamps. Being able to tell Siri or Google to turn on the lamps anywhere, anytime, is fantastic. Before connecting these to lamps, I used them for exterior Christmas lights. Just put them on a schedule in the app. Easy peasy! Will have to get more of these.

Couldn’t Connect
I have 13-14 Ultrapro wifi toggle switches in my house and after experimenting with the “scene” setting in the app, I decided to try these Ultrapro smart outlets. Im familiar with the Ultrapro app and integration with Alexa is flawless. With my previous experience I expected no difficulty in adding these smart plugs. I was wrong….. At first the plugs auto populated in the app to “add new device”, my wifi info is already on the app so it started connecting. I did this several time and ended up with the app “timeout” as I guess it took too long to connect to these new plugs. I reset these several times per the app instructions and no luck. I attempted several time to “manually” add the plugs and it still was either undiscoverable or timed out. Now I have one of those big boi tri-band router and the devices connect to it with out an issue whether its 2.4, 5, or the few 6ghz that are connected to my network. Most of these smart home devices I have are 2.4ghz including all of my Ultrapro switches and have auto connected to which band the required without issue. After probably close to an hour, I decided to dumb down my router and disabled the 5ghz and 6ghz bands temporarily so my phone and Ultrapro plug can only connect to the remaining 2.4ghz band as required. Still can’t get it to connect. So thats a wrap, back to amazon these go.

I’ve been waiting for this solution for decades
UltraPro Smart Plug WiFi Outlets replace mechanical timers. For decades, I had 12 “candles” installed in windows in my home. They were controlled by six mechanical timers – the kind that you depress buttons around a circle starting with the time you want the lights to turn on, and ending with the time you want the lights to turn off. The problem with this setup is that setting the current time is difficult to do accurately and with consistency across all six timers…so the lights turn on and off randomly over several minutes.Enter the UltraPro Smart Plug WiFi Outlets. I got rid of the mechanical timers and replaced them with six outlets. I then connected each one to the UltraPro app on my cellphone (via WiFi). After that, I defined a group called “Window Candles” and added each one to the group. I then set an on/off schedule for the group. At the chosen time, all six outlets turned on at approximately the same exact time, and turned off similarly. Works perfectly!I put our live Christmas tree on a seventh outlet and added that one to the group. When it’s late at night and we want to turn off the lights on the live tree (to minimize it drying out from the heat of the lights), I can simply go to the app on my cellphone and turn that one off. Brilliant!I highly recommend these outlets.
