    Easy to use and install!
    We purchased this wireless timer to be able to remotely turn on our outside patio lights. This device works fantastically to turn on the lights without having to run to the front of the house to flip the switch. Once installed, we put the remote inside the door on a velcro strip to keep it handy and it works so seamlessly with our patio lights and are very pleased with this purchase. The wind and rain are no match for this little device and we’ve had no issues with it. The remote works very well at a moderate distance from the plug and makes lighting up the backyard with just a click of a button so easy!

    Christmas lighting – simplified.
    This device simplifies the powering off and on process of Christmas decorations that reside in the yard. Using the remote or the receiver box, decorative lighting can be turned on by pressing one button.There are two supplied outlets with this unit. I only needed one of them. Throughout my yard, I have multiple 3-way outlets chained together, all of which are controlled by this device.I love being able to come out on my porch with the remote and press the “on” button. All of my decorations instantly light up. I haven’t tested the dusk-to-dawn functionality yet. I am wanting to wait closer to Thanksgiving before I enable that feature. (I am not giving the power company more money than I have to.)If you set up your decorations as I have, be sure to disable the automatic functions of your lights. For example, the webbing of lights I purchased for my hedges, I did not enable their equipped auto-on feature. There is no need to do that if one is utilizing the item for purchase on this page.Note: You will find a piece of plastic at the battery end of the remote. Be sure to firmly grip the battery cover or you will pull the battery out, removing the cover st the same time. Luckily, I made that mistake in my house. It could have been an Easter Egg hunt trying to locate that watch battery in my yard.The video I bundled with this review is a sample of the lights I have currently put out that are controlled by this unit. This device reduces the hassle of having to run around and plug in all of your lights individually each time you want to enjoy them. I highly recommend this unit.

    Every Penny Counts
    Not two weeks in, timer does not work. Remote stopped working within days of receiving and the whole timer stopped working shortly after the remote. Timer was used outside but in sheltered area away from most outside elements. Definitely NOT water/outside proof. Quality is horrible and not worth it, at least with the one I received. Every penny counts nowadays, so I would save your money and move along to a different product that can actually deliver what it says it can. This certainly is NOT a quality product!

    Worked for a while
    I bought this for some outdoor lights. It worked fine for about 7 months and then just quit working. Its inexpensive so I’ll buy another but it should last longer.

    Works perfectly!
    This timer is just what I wanted. At first I was skeptical because it came with no instructions at all, however it was pretty easy to figure out. The first couple of nights I just used the on/off buttons from inside the house. Perfect . No need to go out in the cold. Then I tried the dawn to dusk timer. I pointed the remote at the timer and pressed the button with the sun/moon icon, then the 6H button. Presto. Every night at sundown the lights go on, then they turn off 6 hours later like magic. There are 5 time buttons in 2 hour increments ranging from 2-8 hours. Get this timer! It’s great.
