The best timer we found!
We search and searched for a timer that we could schedule to turn on and off at different times on different days and this is the only one that fit our needs. Easy to schedule, great price and works to the second. Don’t know why people didn’t rate it better. We almost didn’t get it, but went ahead and tried it. We love it. And it has an app for your phone! Perfect!!!

Works well but no instructions and difficult to connect.
The wifi outlet plug does not come with any instructions. I did not have any luck setting it up in the location that I wanted to use it. I needed to first bring it inside near the router, and refer to the product description for instructions on how to connect it to the internet. After several attempts I finally go it to connect. after getting it to connect, I was able to take it to the location I wanted to use in and get it to work. It does appear to be built well and the button on it for turning it on and off outdoors appears to work well.

Best thing I have purchased. Plugged in to the outlet for my Christmas Lights. All we have to do now is say “Alexa turn on the Christmas Lights” Easy to install when I purchase.

Works on 2.4/5ghz mixed network after workaround
I have a Linksys Velop mesh network which works on a 2.4ghz/5ghz mixed network. I have Kasa smart plugs which are compatible with 2.4ghz only and it was a snap to set those up. I would have stuck with Kasa except they don’t make a 3-plug smart outlet (yet), so I went with this HBN one.Trying to get the app to detect this smart plug went absolutely nowhere and according to the directions, my mixed network was not compatible. I had a feeling if I could get it at least added into the app, it would work fine from there. I had an old 2.4ghz router sitting around, so I unplugged my Velop, setup this old router with the same network name and password as the Velop. That was not enough. I also needed the router to have Internet connectivity, which makes no sense to me, but I put it on a different subnet and plugged it into my LAN.Once my phone with app installed was connected to the old router wifi with Internet connectivity, I scanned for new devices and it found nothing. I added it in manually, and the app finally found this stupid plug. I configured it in the app, then unplugged the old router and threw it back in the junk drawer. Plugged in the Velop and as predicted, this outlet connects just fine on a mixed network. Unplugged and plugged back in again several times to confirm.2 stars off for this annoying, unnecessary setup. Other smart plugs like Kasa do this soooooo much better. Also, Kasa automatically gives you the network status of any wifi devices. This doesn’t give any information unless you run a test. It looks like it’s connected, but it just doesn’t respond in the app. Again, terrible, unintuitive design.This is a 2.5 star product, but I round up to 3 stars because in the end I was able to workaround the lousy engineering and make it do what I want.

Set up fairly quickly, set timer on the app really easily and works as intended. So far so good :)Price was better than even the basic timers locally!

I have no idea what people are complaining about these being difficult to set up or impossible to sync. It took me 5mins to set up 4 plugs and sync them set the timers. Just followed the instructions and it was so easy. All my lights now turn on and off at certain times on different days of the week. I absolutely love this product and I’m definitely buying more.
