No, the Nanoleaf Shapes are not compatible with Light Panels or Canvas. You can connect any shapes together – Hexagons, Triangles,& Mini Triangles. All of our products can operate together in the Nanoleaf App even if they’re not physically connected.
How panels are mounted to the wall? Will they damage my wall?
Mount your panels with the included double-sided tape onto any smooth and flat surface. When you mount them, leave the ends of the tape sticking out from the Mounting Plate so you can pull them along the wall later for a safe and easy removal.
Are Nanoleaf lights waterproof?
No, Nanoleaf products are NOT waterproof or water resistant. Our lights and adhesives are not designed to be exposed to high levels of humidity, and are therefore not recommended to be placed in washrooms, near the sink in kitchens, or outdoors.
What is the difference between a Smarter Kit and an Expansion Pack?
Every Nanoleaf Smarter Kit has everything you need to set up the lights. It includes a Controller and a Power Supply unlike Nanoleaf Expansion Packs. An Expansion Pack is an addition to a Smarter Kit which cannot be used without owning a Smarter Kit.
What is the maximum amount of panels that will work with the included 42W Power Supply?

Not Ready for Primetime
Truly premium physical quality and design â thick cord, bright bulbs, quality connectors.That said, the connectivity just doesnât work. I can successfully add them to the Nanoleaf app, but they become unresponsive within an hour. I can add them to HomeKit using Matter, but they never report being reachable in HomeKit.The firmware and app have been updated. Iâve tried resetting and repairing many times. Iâve also contacted Nanoleafâs tech support who is, at first, unhelpful and pretty quickly, like these lights, unresponsive.

I really wanted to like these
I’m a fan of Nanoleaf’s products so I really wanted to like these lights, but I ended up returning them. The quality and construction is very good. As many reviews have pointed out, the design of the bulbs is unique and very attractive. I did not have any connectivity problems and the Matter support worked great with Google Home. However, if you’re seeking lights that can provide warm white light like traditional outdoor patio lights, you’re going to be disappointed – the white color temp is too cold for my taste. Furthermore, as many reviews have said in the past, the Nanoleaf software is disappointing. Yes, you can create some fun, animated scenes with these lights. However, for the holidays I was hoping to be able to use a non-animated color palette such as alternating red-white-blue or green-red-white. This does not appear to be possible from the Nanoleaf mobile app.

These are the coolest string lights I’ve ever seen! First off, the product feels incredibly high-quality. The light bulbs have a sleek, elegant look, and the cables seem durable and reliable. While theyâre a bit heavier than most string lights, itâs totally worth it for the quality.You can easily control them through the app, and the built-in cozy mode is my absolute favorite. There are plenty of different scene options to explore, which adds a lot of fun and versatility.Overall, Iâm thoroughly enjoying the impressive quality and the entertainment they bring. The only downside is that I didn’t measure my patio beforehand, so they ended up being a bit too long for the space.

Backyard Party Game-Changer!
I couldn’t be happier with these outdoor lights! The music reactive feature is a game-changer for outdoor parties. I held my sister’s graduation party in my backyard recently and everyone was so impressed with my lights and how they dance to the music, I had several people ask me about them. The customizable scenes are also great, at night I love turning the lights to shades of purple, it makes my patio feel magical, especially because the light bulbs look like gems. Another thing I love is that these lights feel indestructible – I live in Florida where weâre currently in hurricane season and the lights have withstood some pretty bad weather conditions, like nearly horizontal rain, without any issues. Overall, would really recommend these!

Love how beautiful they look (when they work). Have problems connecting them to Matter and keeping them connecting. Might be product, might be building. Contacted customer service, helpful but still have problem. Had same problem with Nanoleaf light bulbs and then suddenly they never had a problem. Hope itâs the same for these.
