Easy to set up, solid connection, Home Assistant compatible (with minor tweaks)
I’ve been looking for a decent outdoor smart outlet and am trying to keep from making things too complicated on my Home Assistant setup, so figured I’d give this Meross outlet a try. It has some really nice features like the three outlets being independently switched, and the little bit of water and dust resistance it has.Pros:Very quick and easy setup in the Meross app.Quick response to commandsWorks great with Meross-lan HACS plugin for Home Assistant.Technically has the (tricky) ability to do direct connection without any cloud connection. This is not for the faint of heart.Cons:If you’re not in the Meross ecosystem already, this is a whole new app, cloud, integration, etc. No Tuya or ESPHome here.Not all that weather resistant. Not really sealed, just has a tongue and groove edge and rubber stoppers to keep the outside out.Not readily reflashed to a different firmware – uses a Mediatek MT7682TN with no easy access pads.Overall I am pretty happy with it, though running a whole integration for just one device seems silly. It was ridiculous how easy it was to set up and the native app is pretty simple and well designed.

Just in time for the holidays was able.to program this with my google home easily to setup scenario and have the Christmas lights turn off automatically.
