Cleaned up the look
I installed the video doorbell where a traditional one used to be. It looked like the builder used a 12 gauge to drill the pre wire hole for the old one. It was either go out and get stucco patch kit and then try to match faded paint or use a product like this. I went with this for simplicity and I donât regret it.

Exactly what I needed
Exactly what I needed! The old doorbell left a large round hole and marred area in the stucco exterior around my doorframe, and the Arlo doorbell was too skinny to hide it. This is a perfect solution to the problem and looks totally factory installed. I was going to try and mock something up with an interior blanking plate but it was going to look bad and cost more to boot. Would recommend this instead.

Great for stucco
Had to buy this base bc when i initially installed my camera the existing doorbell hole was showing, this base covered the hole. This is mounted on stucco and i had no problems.
