Thise battery powered wireless doorbell camera is very easy to install and doesn’t require cloud subscription. It has very impressive night vision and detect all events happening in front of door. It detects animals, vehicles and packages effectively, and alerts you to suspicious activity. The app is very user friendly. Battery life health indicator appears on the app screen, and it seems to have impressive long life. I I have installed SIM card, and all events are recorded on it. There is an option if you don’t want to install SIM card for the local storage, then you must purchase an app feature to keep clips for 30 days or longer on cloud subscription. The chime is cute, and it alerts you if someone lingers by the camera over 15 second simple to select what kind of notification you need. Highly recommended for its value!

Easy to set up and reliable
I have variety of AOSU different cameras for some time now. All of them – the solar panel ones (regular and panoramic) and battery powered have great video and sound quality and good night vision and visibility. I also purchased the doorbell last year and it also works great, but this new one was appealing because of the package detection feature and its wide angle view, 2 features which the more expensive doorbell camera does not have. Plus, it’s white and aesthetically nice looking, matching my house better than the current all black doorbell. As with all their other cameras, it’s so easy to set up and reliable, affordable, and saves money by having your own storage. In fact, this camera can accept a 128GB mircoSD card, whereas my previous one was limited to 32GB. You can’t go wrong with this. I highly recommend it.

Wireless doorbell expensive but worth it
A wireless doorbell camera eliminates the need for a SIM card, making installation straightforward. It boasts impressive battery life and provides excellent night vision capabilities. The camera effectively detects humans, birds, outdoor cats, vehicles, and packages, ensuring comprehensive monitoring. Additionally, it alerts you to any suspicious activity nearby. It will actually state “learking” if someone stands by the camera longer than 15 seconds. Cute little chime noise as well. Slight lag but overall great. Connectivity works great as well. I was extremely confused at first as if states you need a sim card. But I promise you, that you don’t need to purchase a sim card. Unfortunately you’ll have to purchase something in the app to be able to keep the clips for 30 days. Sometimes it doesnt pickup on stuff even if you get notifications stating the camera saw something.

Good product, great customer service
This is a good product. It’s easy to set up and install, and it works well. My first unit didn’t focus, so I contacted customer support. After a round of basic troubleshooting they sent me a new doorbell camera within 2 days. The new camera installed just as easy and works great. It’s very reassuring when a company backs their product and doesn’t leave you with a dud. The value for the money is big with these and the fact that you don’t need a subscription is really nice.

I can use a memory card to store recordings and access them directly through my phone. For those who prefer secure cloud storage, AOSU offers economical plans. The notifications and alerts are real-time, with a call triggered to the mobile app on any phone where it is installed. This is a great feature if you need to monitor the area closely to avoid missing any live push notifications. I currently prefer standard push notifications and was able to adjust the detection settings to reduce false alerts triggered by animals or moving shadows.The AOSU Doorbell Camera integrates seamlessly with my Alexa device, allowing me to view live videos from all my cameras simultaneously through the AOSU app. The two-way voice function is incredibly convenient, enabling me to speak to visitors in real-time, even when I’m not at home. This feature was particularly useful with my main door camera, where visitors had to keep their heads up to talk to me. With this doorbell camera, communication is much more convenient.The camera comes with a chime, a charging cord, a camera wedge kit, and an instruction manual. The initial setup was super easy, taking less than a minute with the AOSU app. The chime offers a variety of audio options to choose from. However, one recommendation would be to include all the audio options in the AOSU app to make it quicker and easier to select new bell sounds.Overall, the AOSU Doorbell Camera Wireless is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their home security without incurring ongoing subscription fees. It offers comprehensive coverage, smart detection features, and high-quality video, all while integrating smoothly with other smart home devices. Very easy install, just follow the instructions and you’re good to go. Cam should be charged before use even though it has a small charge. Bell cam has some storage but I recommend to get the mini SD 128 gig. All in all this cam works very well with many different ring options and I recommend to disable motion detection if you live in a busy area. Otherwise you are constantly going to get notifications which could get very annoying. Video graphics are smooth with wide angles so you can also customize it accordingly. I highly recommend this door bell cam specially for the price. No subscription is needed unless you want some added gadgets.
