Leviton DG3HL-1BW Decora Smart Plug-in Dimmer, Zigbee Certified, White

Leviton’s Decora Smart family of Zigbee enabled
lighting controls are the perfect addition to any
smart home automation system using a Zigbee hub,
gateway, or controller. The DG3HL Decora Smart
300W Plug-In Dimmer is Zigbee 3.0 certified and
includes the latest in Zigbee technology for interoperability and network security. Zigbee uses mesh
networking technology to provide quick, reliable,
and secure communication to a wide variety of
Zigbee certified smart products such as sensors,
thermostats, locks, and more.
With the DG3HL, dim and brighten table and floor
lamps from 0-100% or turn lights on and off wirelessly
as part of a Zigbee network. The DG3HL is compatible
with incandescent and LED / CFL lighting loads.
When paired with a Zigbee compatible hub, gateway,
or controller, the DG3HL dimmer provides remote
lighting control from anywhere and can be included
in scene-based lighting, schedules, and other smart
home activities – such as automating your plug-in
lamps and holiday lighting without any new wiring
– simply plug-in the device and pair to a compatible
Zigbee hub, gateway, or controller.
The DG3HL Plug-In Dimmer can also be controlled via
Voice or App depending on the Zigbee hub it is paired
to. Some common Smart Home hubs supporting
Zigbee include the Xfinity Home Touch Screen,
Amazon Echo Plus and Echo Show (2nd Gen), and
Samsung SmartThings.
The DG3HL is ideal for any residential setting
where remote dimming of LED/CFL (up to 100W)
and incandescent (up to 300W) is needed. Leviton’s
Decora Smart lighting controls are engineered to
function with extremely sensitive, low-wattage light
sources, such as a single LED bulb or a strand of
holiday lights, ensuring LEDs do not glow when off.

Zigbee 3.0 CERTIFIED: requires Zigbee hub such as Xfinity Home Touch Screen, Amazon Echo Plus and Echo Show (2nd Gen), and Samsung SmartThings.
VOICE CONTROL: works with Alexa (Zigbee hub required, Alexa device and hub sold separately)
CONTROL: Provides polarized 300W-120VAC NEMA receptacle for table, floor, and hanging plug-in lamps.
RATINGS: LED and CFL up to 100W, incandescent up to 300W

    Pairs well with Lutron Aurora
I’ve used Zigbee binding to connect the Aurora to this dimmer. They work great together.

Does not pair with Hue Hub
My $10 Zigbee 3.0 devices work great with my Hue Hub. Not this expensive Leviton.

    Works well with Hubitat
Easy to add to Hubitat and works as it should. Would recommend it and also buy it again without hesitation. A bit on the higher end from a price perspective, but therefore no problems and flawless function in Hubitat.

    Works like it should.
Has a nice dim-to-off feature when you turn it off.

I’ve been using one for a few months. Super reliable. It’s in a weird corner of my house, but it must have a very strong signal because a lot of my devices from random places end up choosing this as their route in the network. My only issue was that the button is a bit bright for my bedroom at night, so I covered it.
