    Perfect remote solution.
    I bought 2 of these and they are perfect. The application is simple and easy to use. Programming just takes seconds, and I love that each outlet can be scheduled individually. Also you can label each outlet separately in the app. I use this year round for outdoor lighting. It replaced the old dial style timer, which would stop if someone flipped the switch off or the power went out. The only downside to this model is the plug/cord is short. An 18” or 24” inch cord would be perfect. I love these so much I bought a third. I run all these in the one app. I’ve not had any problems with connection or functionality at all.

    Excellent Value – It Works Great With Alexa (dimming too!) and is rugged!
    I was pleasantly surprised that this dimmer works so well with my house architecture. I use it to control a string of 50 LED Edison lightbulbs. It is mounted outside and has endured many hard rains without issue. The dimmer does a great job and is rated up to 400 Watts… far more than what I need. To make this work with Alexa, you have to initially use their app to set up the lights and associate the device with your WIFI network. Once that is done, you probably wont have to touch their app again… although it isnt bad. I put this on an Alexa schedule… On at 30 minutes after sunset and off at 11PM. No fails and I really like how easy it is. A good way to automate things that you would otherwise not be able to.

    Survived 3 Michigan winters and running
    When it’s Christmas light season, I prefer to let Alexa figure out when the lights should be turned off and on. Finding myself in need of an outdoor, weatherproof, and WiFi-connected plug, I tried this little guy.Nearly three years later, it’s my go-to for controlling my outdoor Christmas lights. Between seasons, it sits in a box in my cold garage, but still works well at the beginning of each season. Not only that, but it even remembers WiFi information between seasons! Some IoT devices completely fail this test.My only complaint is that one year it was extremely difficult getting the devices to connect (though weirdly the next year I had zero issues). My WiFi bubble stretches far beyond my house, but it’s likely there was some dead spot in the particular cubic meter where the plugs were.However, I would recommend this product. It’s durable and works flawlessly once connected.

    Item is NOT waterproof
    Item is advertised and labeled as “IP65 Rated” which would indicate it is watertight unless a jet of water is pointed straight at it. The manual, however, states otherwise and that it cannot be installed where it might get rained on. I would not have purchased knowing this.

    Connects to my Home Assistant with Matter
    One of the few smart plugs that use matter and actually connected to my Home Assistant the first time! I have some custom networking to keep my IoT devices like this one from talking to my phone or laptop. The custom networking makes it a little more difficult to work with some devices. This works perfect and is holding up to light rain and turns all my holiday lights on/off as needed. I bought a second one for another string of holiday lights.I will get one more to control my outdoor pergola lights.

    Android Phone Note – Nearby Devices permission
    This switch is awesome! Just a few, random connectivity issues so far, but… that doesn’t really impact me for my purposes. BUT…I want to append to the review by “J. Salmi” in using Smart Life or Minoston app. After installing either app, I still could not get the bluetooth working for automatic adding. On my Galaxy S20 Android phone, I went into the settings for each app and found that “Nearby Devices” was not being allowed. NO IDEA why neither app didn’t default this or ask me to do so. Once I manually allowed the permission of “Nearby Devices”, each app immediately identified and installed this Plug entry. (note that you can only use 1 of these apps as the other will have the entry removed). Thanks J. Salmi for your help in spite of all that frustration! 🙂
