The Wire-Free Smart Motion Sensor adds programmable motion to Cync Smart Bulbs, Smart Switches and Smart Plugs. The indoor motion detector automatically turns lights and devices on when motion is detected in the room and turns them off when the room is unoccupied, making it easy and convenient to control bedroom lights, bathroom lights, smart bulbs, smart plugs, and smart light switches. The Bluetooth indoor motion light sensor connects wirelessly to Cync Smart Bulbs, Smart Plugs and Smart Switches via the Cync App, powered by Savant, to provide whole room motion control. The motion settings are adjustable so LED lights can come on slowly at nighttime or be set to deactivate during certain times. Set lights to turn on based on natural light and motion in the room. Pair with a Cync Smart Plug and automatically turn off devices like curling irons after you’ve left the room. With a replaceable battery rated to last over two years and multiple mounting and positioning options, it’s easy to get expansive motion coverage anywhere in your home with this motion detection light.
Group Cync Devices: Group this indoor motion sensor with Cync and C by GE smart bulbs, smart plugs, and smart switches in the Cync App, powered by Savant, to control an entire room; Place the wireless sensor on a shelf or table, or mount with the included brackets
Programmable Motion Detector: Schedule your battery-powered motion sensor to deactivate during certain hours or turn smart light bulbs on softly at nighttime, or make any room in your house have motion-activated light
Turns Off Devices: This motion light sensor works with Cync smart plugs to automatically turn off devices like flat irons or space heaters if no one is in the room; Motion sensor light connects to app via Bluetooth only
Adjustable Settings: Customize a variety of settings for grouped devices in the app with this wireless motion light sensor, such as sensitivity of motion, light threshold, timeout period, deactivation period, and schedules
Save Money and Energy: Set room lights to turn off if no motion is detected by the sensor; Ambient light detection keeps lights from turning on when natural light fills the room; Replaceable battery rated to last over two years

Works like a charm
I tried a couple of other brands and found this one in clearance at a department store in town and really loved it. Bought all they had and search everywhere for more. Had to turn to Amazon and they had it. So I got what I was missing to complete our house.I recommend this brand if you are wanting ease and hassle free use.

works perfectly
I bought this item to turn on the lights in my basement. I often head down the steps with a full load of laundry in my hands so motion detection is ideal. and I have to say it has worked flawlessly. It took a little fiddling to align the sensor so that my feet on the steps turn on the lights before I’m more than 3 steps down, and I had to set the time before the lights would turn back off a little longer in the app so the lights stay on long enough, but now its perfect. The light sensor keeps the lights off during the day. Great product. I can also turn them off and on with voice command via Google Home if desired

Doesn’t work… Plus the app is pretty terrible…
I bought this sensor and a Cync smart bulb for my entry way light. After trudging through the remarkably unintuitive app (I have lots of smart devices and have used many of these types of apps, so I generally know what I am doing). I had both devices installed. Both were seen by the app and working.BUT…. the motion sensor would not show any indication that it was detecting motion and it most certainly wouldn’t turn on the smart bulb….After resetting and re-pairing both devices several times and even going so far as to buy another sensor (assumed the 1st one was faulty). I realized that something was up…I spent over an hour on the phone with their tech support. Then another 30 minutes with their ‘senior technician’ They could not figure it out…Incidentally, I did discover during this call, the motion sensor has no led to indicate that it is on. Nor to show that it is detecting motion.. (something that pretty much every motion sensor I have ever seen, has). The tech support guy sent me an email to let me know that he was passing along the issue to the technology team… (along with all of the logs from my app.)I heard nothing for almost 3 weeks. Then I got an email: “We have identified the issue you are experiencing as a currently known issue. Our technology team is working toward a resolution that will restore the intended function.”WOW!! So they sell me a product (twice) that they know doesn’t work and then waste hours of my time on it. Then wait 3 weeks to tell me that it doesn’t work… If the tech person had told me this at the beginning of the 90 mins I was on the phone, at least I wouldn’t have wasted that part of my life….Suffice it to say – I have no interest in using any of GE’s ‘smart’ products….

Works well but not without a few issues…..
I have had c by ge light bulbs for about a year now and used Alexa and sometimes Google to control them, however I got tired of always shouting commands to turn on the lights especially since I don’t have an Alexa in every room. So I thought this would perfect since it is motion detected instead of voice. However my initial setup was a nightmare. I had my bulbs already synced up with Alexa and my bridge and I thought I could just add motion and that would be all, but nope! I had to reset all 15 lights. I found out that by adding these motion sensors it makes my Alexa voice commands and smart bridge useless, like literally the device is incompatible with it. So if you don’t mind giving up alexa/Google voice commands and your smart bridge to control your lights then go for it, I just had no idea. The app even tells you during setup that’s it’s “not compatible at this time” so my lights are no longer showing up in my Alexa app, bummer. But of course you can use the c by ge app to control the lights but not Google or Alexa. Beside those negatives it works as expected I have my upstairs lights turn on automatically if someone walks up the stairs and same downstairs. You can set the brightness according to the time of day and a timer of how long the lights should stay on to save energy. Also a tip set up your lights FIRST, then add your motion sensors or it will not work, so if your previous lights are already synced up with Google or Alexa you will have to reset your lights then add the motion sensors. Also there will be a firmware update out the box, so I recommend you install that right away. I will update review if anything should change in my review. Thank You.

Works Great
I got this for my Mom for Christmas. Her garage does not have a light switch for the light inside the garage at the outside door. She has been keeping a flashlight at the entrance so when she comes in and it is dark, she can walk through to the inside door, where the light switch is.I paired this with the C by GE 3-Wire On/Off Toggle Style Smart Switch (no neutral required). The install was simple, download the C by GE on your smartphone, install the light switch (listed above) and configure the light switch (you will need bluetooth for the initial configuration of the light switch. Then go to where you want to have this sensor, ours is about 20 feet from the light switch and mount the magnet that holds the sensor in place to the wall. Again, using your bluetooth on your smartphone, you will pair this and configure the sensor (in order to make any changes to the sensor, you will need your bluettooth and the application). You can set how long the light will remain on, how sensitive the motion sensor is, and what kind of light condition you want it to trigger the light. All in all, works great and Mom is happy that she does not need the flashlight anymore.
