No, the Nanoleaf Shapes are not compatible with Light Panels or Canvas. You can connect any shapes together – Hexagons, Triangles,& Mini Triangles. All of our products can operate together in the Nanoleaf App even if they’re not physically connected.
How are panels mounted to the wall? Will they damage my wall?
Mount your panels with the included double-sided tape onto any smooth and flat surface. When you mount them, leave the ends of the tape sticking out from the Mounting Plate so you can pull them along the wall later for a safe and easy removal.
Are Nanoleaf lights waterproof?
No, Nanoleaf products are NOT waterproof or water resistant. Our lights and adhesives are not designed to be exposed to high levels of humidity, and are therefore not recommended to be placed in washrooms, near the sink in kitchens, or outdoors.
What is the difference between a Smarter Kit and an Expansion Pack?
Every Nanoleaf Smarter Kit has everything you need to set up the lights. It includes a Controller and a Power Supply unlike Nanoleaf Expansion Packs. An Expansion Pack is an addition to a Smarter Kit which cannot be used without owning a Smarter Kit.

Excellent Range, Easy set-up
We Tried several other remote switches for our pool lights, as we wanted to turn them on and off without having to go outside an flip the switch.We finally found this one which works very well because we needed a single pole switch w/o a common wire.I installed the receiver at the junction box that feeds the pool lights. I left the outside switch intact as a master cut-off.The remote has amazing range an reaches from anywhere in the house out to the junction box receiver.I downloaded TUYA SMART app on my iPhone and connected effortlessly to light controller. Now I can set schedules like dusk to dawn, and weekend timers.the switch has been installed for about 3 months now with no issues.

Overall good product
install was very easy and works just as described.if i had any complaints it would be that the wires on the relay are a little short. another 4-6″ would make it easier to mount. also, the switch feels very cheap but does work well. it would be nice if it had an on/off indicator. the small blue led lights only when the button is pressed. not sure what the purpose is of that but i have this controlling exterior lights so if someone presses the light during the day, you wouldn’t know that the light is on unless you go outside and see it on. a small notification led would be great. i wouldn’t mind having to change the battery a little sooner because of it.

Use Tuya app and try again if pairing fails
It didn’t pair correctly the first time, so we reset it into pairing mode and it connected to the Tuya app without problem. It responded properly to the on/off switch on the hard-wired controller, and to the remote switch, and to the on / off button in the Tuya app. It also responded to a verbal “hey google, turn on (or off) the (name of the light) immediately after pairing without any further actions. I don’t know why other people had problems or why they were using some app besides Tuya. Tuya is a great app and controls a ton of products. I chose these switched precisely because they said they worked with Tuya. If people have difficulty pairing these, turn the light off for a few seconds and try again, maybe holding the reset button longer. So far, I would recommend this product and I purchased additional switches.

The device works well, pairs easily enough with home control systems etc. The only real complaint I have is with the installation, the wire terminals could be a lot better, especially the shared neutral setup. I think that if I were to wire it up again I would create my own pigtails for it, that would probably make the installation a lot less frustrating.

Saved me from costly solution
This product really saved me a huge expense and headache. During a renovation, contractor cut line from yard flood light to house. Instead of running new line he jumped an existing line to another outlet outside. As a result the switch had to be installed under the light in the back of the yard! With this module I now have a waterproof solution that has a wireless switch that works flawlessly from over 100 ft but also the option to control via smartphone.

Works as intended!
Wiring and setting up the switch was the easy part. Getting the switch to connect to with the app was very frustrating. The app would not recognize the switch after the second or third attempt. I had to keep putting the switch into pairing mode in order for it to work properly. The radio frequency remote worked after the first try. Since the product works, it receives five stars. I am now able to use the floodlights on the switch and control them using the included remote. We shall see how long with the switch will last. I will update my review if any issues occur moving forward.

Great remote control for ceiling lights
I purchased these because I have three ceiling lights in my basement on the same circuit and they had three switches. I wanted to be able to independently control the lights, but didn’t want to have to go through the hassle of rewiring the lights. I installed these in the light mounts and now all three lights have their own independent switch, and I can control them using Google Assistant. The receivers are a bit on the large side, so if your light is mounted using one of the 1/2″ thick boxes (those situations where your light is mounted to a joist), these won’t work for you unless your light fixture itself has the room for the receiver For those wondering how to do the wiring, in my case, the traveler wire went from switch to switch. When I removed the old switches, I wired the black wires together and white wires together, and capped off the red traveler wire. The receivers were wired as the instructions indicated.
