could kill you in your sleep cost me 24x what I paid for it
worked fine for about 2 weeks, then woke up to the smell of burning plastic. Caught fire and melted wall outlet while lamp connected to it was powered off….good thing I’m a light sleeper because my family generally prefers to remain alive…..also really could have done without the $600 emergency electrician bill

Do you smell what energizers cooking?
Did not buy from Amazon but saw these for sale at a hardware store and thought why not. I managed to get about 4 months out of them until on Christmas Eve (today) I started smelling melted plastic and found the same problem…which was a melted smart plug.
