    Making a smart home!
    This outlet has been working great for months! It makes it so convenient to turn off lights or fans when I am out of the house and worry that I forgot to do it. It pairs up perfectly with my wifi and my phone app. It looks just like a regular outlet and doesn’t stand out at all. I am very happy with the quality of this product and plan to get more of these when I am ready to install them.

    Really Easy to setup
    Was really easy to pull into the Eaton App and configure. Works pretty good remotely and almost zero delay in response.Easy to install in the wall and replace the existing unit. Nice plug-n-play work.I don’t have a home assistant so didn’t test that portion.

    The photo clearly shows an outlet cover but there wasn’t one included with mine so I was unable to use it. For $44 I would expect everything I needed to install it.

    Finally, a high-quality WiFi smart outlet from a company that will still be around “tomorrow”!
    I needed a WiFi connected outlet for my kitchen remodel because I wanted to be able to power down countertop appliances at night for piece of mind, but I didn’t want to leave this duty to a “random” unknown brand of power outlet peddling a lower-priced version with unknown certifications and quality.I have several of these outlets setup with a particular home automation script that has several conditions that allow the outlets to have power for convenience and safety. First of all, if a smoke detector detects smoke, all the outlets perform the “power cut” automation…that’s 24/7/365. The second thing is that if it’s after 9pm, and the kitchen motion detector hasn’t detected motion for 2 hours, the outlets shut off until 6am. The motion detector will not re-power the outlets directly on motion (in the middle of the night) but if you need a countertop appliance at 3am, just ask Alexa to “turn on the kitchen power” and it re-powers the outlets (until 9pm the next day) for your mid-night air fryer “sesh”! No judgement here…I wanted a quality manufacturer that I can rely on to keep my family safe, and provide decades of service to us! Eaton provides this, I use a TON a Eaton products in my home, they have a wide variety of home automation products with innovative features that I can use to bring safety and convenience to my family!

    Lamentablemente compre 10 de este dispositivo y en latinoamerica no se pueden utilizar, lamentablemente no lo advierte este vendedor. No lo recomiendo para los que compramos por medio de esta plataforma para utilizarlo en latinoamerica.

    Well made smart plug
    It’s a great design allowing you to have one plug that’s controllable and one that’s like a regular plug.Make sure you have neutral wires running to your outlets as many older homes don’t have this.The app is a little clunky and I had to manually setup my password in Google password manager, many apps have this integrated.So far I haven’t had any major issues other than the app being slow but many similar smart home items are this way, would be a great idea to invest in the app a bit more given the price they charge.That being said it’s still going solid so far and so it’ll stay at 5stars, I’ve owned many home automation items with many of them giving me issues right off the bat so that’s huge to me.
