Not Compatible with Google Wired Camera V2
This adapter did not work for my Google Wired Camera V2 and may have caused an LED light to blow out (possibly coincidental). While the concept is practical, its compatibility limitations and potential issues make it less appealing. Iâd rate it 2 stars for my experience.

This will allow us to put USB-powered decorations on our front porch, which lacks a conventional outlet. It’s designed to provide power for a security camera, which it should handle easily.Because operation of the USB power will be determined by power at the switch, we will probably get a rechargeable smart bulb for the E26 socket so that we don’t have to have our porch light on all the time.

Complete Kit
I got this to use for my Side Garage Door Camera, it doesn’t get enough light for the Solar Panel to keep the camera charged. Very simple to install, the rubber seal around the USB-A Port is deep enough to stop moisture from getting in. It also comes with some 3M Tape Mounts to tidy up the wires. The threaded bulb adapter is also tapered to fit sockets with tight tolerances.
