    Worked great for 2 weeks
    Second update 10-20-2022: Daybetter just sent a second set of lights and these seem to work as they should. Easy to setup Wi-Fi and light scenes now work. The scheduler works like a charm and is nice to automate. Daybetter seems to stand by its products and they seemed concerned that I was a happy camper and had resolved in 3 Days. Thanks Daybetter!Update 10-17-2022: DayBetter just got with me and are sending out a new set. I will update my experience with the new set after I get setup again. I was really impressed that DayBetter contacted so quickly, maybe I should have just emailed the seller but Amazon said item could not be returned.I was really excited to get these and try out. We just purchased a new home and now have a man cave to decorate. Setup was easy and the adhesion was good. The bad thing about these lights is that they have no way to add another roll easy without splicing with a kit sold separately, and they should have a 4 prong female plug on each side with a 2 sided male to connect and should come with a 6 foot white extension cord so dont have to run lit lights up corner of wall.It took one roll to go half way around room, then I purchased a link kit and the other roll lit up ok. For a couple days!After a week the red started looking like pink a foot from where power connected then they started turning different colors even though I selected red. When selecting blue I got green, Blue and yellow which was strange. Another week went by and now they dont work at all. maybe the set was a bad one, I dont know but sucks to only have working for 2 weeks for 30 bucks and 10 bucks for link kit. I was expecting more as they looked better than most light sets.Live and learn while companies get rich off of defective toys…!

    Debatably best value LED lights on the market
    These are definitely really cool. They are easy to set up (although it may take a while to get them in place) and after stick to the wall well. Is able to fully light up my bedroom without much of a problem. Only complaint, the remote control provided sometimes has trouble working (I don’t think the range of the signals it sends is very far).However, overall I would have to say that this product is a very good deal for the money and the app is amazing. So many different “themes” to choose from-very fun!I have had the regular non-Alexa compatible LED light version from the same seller, and the app used for these lights is evidently much better quality and works super well.Best part-no Alexa needed! Although it would probably make it even more fun, it also works just fine with the phone app.Overall, I would rate a 4.8 stars out of five stars, only for the sake of the remote control not always working. For the price, though, it would be unfair to expect it to be perfect. (rating rounded up to 5 stars since Amazon doesn’t allow fifths of a star).

    I never knew you could cut to length!
    These LED light strips are great! They have a neat thing that I never knew you could do which is the ability to be cut to the length you need. Comes with corner pieces and other extras to make the installation super easy. Remote control and app control work great as well. Very LONG strip of lights for the money and with that ability to cut to your needed length, these can’t be beat!

    Looks great and easy to install
    I really love the look of these lights. I like that the app as it allows me to program colors and really customize it. I also like that I can schedule when they turn on and off or use my Alexa to manage the lights. The only thing I’ve noticed that even though I have a scheduled time for them to turn off and on they turn off before the set time and I have to turn them back on again. Once I’ve turned them on again though they will return to the set theme and turn off at the set time. They turn off whether I turn them on manually with the app or allow them to turn on set time but I believe it’s after only a couple hrs they will turn off on their own. So far I haven’t been able to catch the exact moment so I’m not sure about exactly how long. It is a little annoying but I deal. As far as shipping they were very delayed and was considered possibly lost. I was notified I could request a replacement or a refund and I was sent a replacement which arrived quickly so I was very grateful for that. Although I would like them to stay on as expected they are still a nice set of lights and would still recommend them based on the features and the fact that they have good adhesive and were easy to set up.

    Decent lights… certain colors don’t work
    I love the ease of setup and functionality. Being able to connect to my Alexa gives even more points for ease of use.Adhesion sticks well, fun variety of settings and connects to app well.Cons: brightness, only gets so bright. And some colors don’t work and shade ranges don’t work but don’t care as much about shades. White is purple and when I want it green it just turns off as you can see in the video.

    Poor Connection
    I have used the lights for a while and while it is nice being able to control them from am app every night I have to go downstairs and use the remote to manually turn them off. The lights say Offline every night. I have them on auto on and off. The on works at 7p but they do not turn off at 10p because they are no longer connected to WiFi. I have a ring doorbell and I do not have this issue with it so I’m sure it is not my internet. Other than the connection being useless at night the lights are nice to have, besides a strange noise that the lights make near the outlet when the color changes. Video shows sound. They were easy to install, the colors are nice and it is esthetically pleasing around my stairs. The stick isn’t very durable but all in all the lights are there for when I come home late. I just wish I didn’t have to go downstairs to turn them off.
