Love this bulbs I have finally completely switched my home over to smart bulbs and plugs this is a very reliable brand. Easy to set up. Color is great a little different purple then my first 10 I bought which were Tuya but they work great we will see after a few month how they hold up. They are very bright and vibrant. Some defective bulbs would not connect to app.
The DAYBETTER Smart Light Bulbs, 10 pack, had the first bulb I tried to use that would not connect to the app. The app itself isn’t very good and didn’t help at all. It also requires the DayBetter app so be prepared to download, setup your account, and have another app that you will depend on to control your lights.The first bulb had issues connecting to the DayBetter app and then would not connect to the Alexa app either. The app worked via bluetooth for controlling color and brightness but that’s it and only through the DayBetter app.Bulb two did work a little better, it did connect to WiFi using the DayBetter app, and then could also be connected to the Alexa app and is now working with Alexa.Overall be prepared to learn a new app, test bulbs that may or may not work, and hope it works with Alexa. In the future, I will probably stick to a more well know brand name bulb.

One of the Better Smart Bulbs
Honestly, no pun intended, but I have a lot of smart bulbs from a lot of different companies and while some of them are a pain in the you know what I’m happy to report that DAYBETTER is not on that list. Why, let’s start with the bulb. Any bulb, smart or not should have information printed on it that helps you identify what the bulb is and where it came from. In addition, since Smart Bulbs are considered devices, they should be UL listed. Smart bulbs that follow FCC regulations will probably work much better than bulbs that are not. The user manual is available directly from this light bulb.Next is the APP. You could have the fastest car on the block but if fill it with bad gas it’s gonna run like crap. I do not use the app so I am giving this app high marks because of how easy it connects to my Alexa. Correct there are many ways to connect bulbs to Alexa the best is a direct link through MATTER. The next best thing is through an Alexa SKILL. And finally the least favorite would be through the device selection. I’m not going to go through these in detail but DAYBETTER App connects through an Alexa SKILL. Bravo.When I decided to get an Alexa device and use it to turn light bulbs on and off I was happy just being able to do that. The colors, the routines, and all the other things were not important to me however, these are colored light bulbs and you need to know the truth. The app that comes with the light bulb will have more features, and more colors than using that very same bulb with Alexa. I will give just one example. Your color selection under the app is unlimited but from Alexa you have just a dozen or so. And some of those colors may not work very well. Orange may look white yellow may look green yada Yada Yada. Regardless me personally I’m not bothered. I’m 60 years old and the lights in my skylights are programmed to come on one hour after sunset at 50% brightness in the color orange. And that right there is cool enough for me.Cheers

Lightbulbs are so cool now! We just installed a bunch of these smart bulbs in our cabin and they work great. You can change the color, schedule them to come on dusk til dawn, or any other scheduling you desire. I can turn them on and off remotely from anywhere and being that there are ten in this pack I only have to use one application to manage them. I am hoping that since they are LED and require less electricity than the old fashioned bulbs they replaced that they will soon pay for themselves. I am happy with this product and would recommend these smart bulbs for anyone in need of such a device.
