    Another TP-Link smart home device that just works.
    More and more I’ve been finding myself surprised by TP-Link and their smart-home offerings. This is no different. The lightbulbs are exceptionally easy to get going and to pair. And they don’t flash weird colors prior to setup like every other smart bulb I’ve used.Unlike most other smart bulbs, I just shoved this thing, set it up in my app, and was on my way. This thing was detected by Amazon in my Alexa app almost immediately, and voice control was rather effortless (minus the typical quirks with voice control) for the most part.Colors as well as different white modes were easy to select, very easy to tell apart color-wise, and rather vibrant. Not as vibrant as some other brands, but the ease of use and ability to use with Home Assistant without needing to flash firmware or mess with anything more advanced easily make up for that, in my opinion.Did I mention that it works with Home Assistant? Kind of a huge buying point for me these days. Control seems to be local despite me needing to have an account. As of the time of me writing this review, I currently have these on a VLAN in my network, unable to speak out, and they still work flawlessly.

    Buy these!
    These are a game changer as they work with my Smart Things at the house which is also compatible with Samsung appliances. This also works with Alexa so I’ve only been turning on/off my lights with my voice. She can also change the colors, but I mostly like the whites and the varied lumens/dimming. She can also adjust that.In the kasa app they have a schedule you can set, so I’ve been playing around with having my lights on at sunset til 10 PM, which seems to work conveniently.Only con was one of the bulbs had a very hard time connecting so I had to swap it and will try again with a different light. So far I have 2:4 up and running. Recommended!

    Easy to use smart bulbs
    After moving into my first apartment a few years ago I wanted to get smartbulbs because I grew up watching clapper commercials and this is my generations clapper lol. The first smartbulbs I ever saw were phillips brand, I couldn’t afford as many phillips smart bulbs as I needed so I settled for regular light bulbs for a while. First black friday post move, I saw Kasa smartbulbs on sale and since they had good reviews I took a chance. I can afford phillips now but I really like the ease and functionality of the kasa bulbs. You do have to download the kasa app to set up the install (you have to connect em to wifi), but the instructions are easy to follow and you install the bulbs like any regular light bulb. They’re energy efficient so they save me money, they change colors so I can set whatever mood I want, they are compatible with Alexa and Google home, and you can always control them off from the app.

    Great alternate to Hue
    I had two Hue bulbs fail in the last week. They are insanely expensive so I went in this direction. I’m already a TP-Link/Kasa device owner and love them. Sockets, switches, cameras and sensors all work great. These connect easily with the Tapo app. Great range of brightness and color range. Hoping these last a while. The price was excellent and all my other TP/Kasa products are sturdy and reliable. This is a very affordable option if you want LED lights with color options and remote control. Give them a try.

    These connect much better and quicker than our previous ones, and they disconnect a lot less frequently. Overall a good value, bulbs could be brighter though. These are definitely just ambient light, not something you’d do any work by. The colour variations are good, app is easy to use, they work well with alexa. They do randomly disconnect, which is frustrating, but definitely not as much as other brands we’ve tried.

    Buen producto, el brillo es menor al de LloydsSmart y no se puede programar una escena para que cambie automáticamente de colores pero en general muy bien. Al principio cuesta un poco de trabajo aprender los pasos para vincular pero después es muy muy rápido y sencillo (en primer lugar debes estar conectado a la red a la que se conectará el dispositivo, luego abres la app, agregas dispositivo/seleccionas la red del dispositivo (es una referencia que te aparecerá en la lista de redes) / seleccionas red de casa escribes la contraseña (es lo que se almacenará en el foco para que se pueda conectar en caso de corte de energía) y listo
