    Solved my patio lighting problem!
    I had used all kinds of other products, either built-in bulbs that wouldn’t come on or externally rigged sensors that were ugly and exposed. This bulb was a cinch. I just plugged it in and bam! Light comes on at dusk and goes off at dawn. I’ll revisit this review to see how the longevity is after a year of being exposed to outside elements, cold and heat, but so far it’s been great after a couple of months.

    I recently bought the Amazon Basics A19 Dusk to Dawn Sensor LED Light Bulb for the second time, and I’m very pleased. These bulbs automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn, which is perfect for outdoor use. They provide a nice, bright light while being energy-efficient.     Better than I expected.
    This is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. My family always forgets to turn off the porch light so it often gets left on all day. I though I would give these a try. I was sure they would work for the lights by the garage door but wasn’t sure about my covered entryway. It can stay a little dark and the big tree in the yard doesn’t help. It works great. As soon as the sun comes up, off they go. It is also nice that they come on in the evening when I get home later than a thought and the lights were off. Win win all around. Defiantly would recommend especially with the price being so good.

    Personally, they’re a little too bright for my taste. I wasn’t sure how bright 60w equivalent was, and after seeing them on at night, I can say that I think I like less brightness and warmer colors. Despite this, for the price and for what they are, they are a good deal and work as advertised. They come on automatically when the sensor doesn’t detect enough light. Perfect since my wife always forgets to turn off the lights in the morning when she leaves for work and we get home after it gets dark and come home to a dark house.

    So convenient!!
    These work great as bulbs for exterior light fixtures. As LED, they are cost effective and we just leave them on. Inside we have a couple lamps with them, so we don’t return to a dark house (set my mom up a few the same way). They don’t get hot either, so much better than standard light bulbs, plus they won’t yellow lamp shades etc. from heat over time.

    These automatic light bulbs are wonderful. So simple and if the power goes out they don’t have to be reset like the switch timers. No electrical installation just screw them in and the lights will come on at dusk and off at dawn. OR if for some reason you want to turn them on and off then just leave the switch off and turn the lights on when you need them. Soooo simple and worry free.

    If you don’t have a smart home then these lights are perfect. Their sensors work as advertised so the lights come on at dusk and shut off at dawn. A great energy saver that is hassle free. I will definitely recommend them and will be buying them again in the future
