    Perfect for voice control with Alexa
    These light bulbs are incredibly useful while using voice communications such as Google home or Alexa.I battled slightly setting up one of the bulbs with Alexa since it was undiscoverable, I simply went through the Alexa app itself and was able to set it up this way. One of the bulbs however needed to be set up with the Lepro + app, so just keep that in mind if you are struggling.Once the bulbs are connected it is smooth sailing from there. I just simply tell Alexa to change the bulb color to “Blue, Green, Purple, Etc.” Or you can even say “Alexa, Dim the lights.”Alexa instantly responds and if there are any issues connecting she will tell you which light bulb is affected. In the Alexa app, you can name each bulb and it prospective room which is helpful for identifying which room you want lights turned on or off and which color.Overall wonderful bulbs, I have been using these for a couple of years and the hands free ability to connect my lights with any color I want is an exceptional addition to my home!

    One million colors… except white?!
    The idea of the smart light is pretty great and they make me super happy. Set up was tedious because the initial pairing mode didnt work and I have dual broadband but it did work. I am only disappointed by the fact that the whitest temp is more like a classic incandescent, so very yellow and not very bright. The range of dimming isnt as wide as I expected. At 1%, they are still fairly bright, but it’s not a big deal to me. I am pretty satisfied but considering if other brands are worth the higher price point.

    Fun, just keep your Bluetooth off
    So I didn’t bother connecting to it to Bluetooth which you can do its totally fine I’m sure. It works fine, as advertised. Sometimes though if you leave you phone’s Bluetooth device on it will breakout and you have to reset it. Other than it, it works fine with just the wifi.I love setting the mood and just have a bright light that isn’t white so when I wake up early and people are still sleeping, it’s not as waking. I can still have good vibes to start my day and people can still enjoy sleep.

    BE CAREFULL BEFORE ORDERING THESE BULBS!!!
    They tell you these colored bulbs are “compatible” with Alexa. I could not get them to work so called the company. The person who answered spoke very little english. I could hardly understand her. The only way they are “compatible” with Alexa is if you download a special app. and then create an account. Way too much work! Just get the Alexa Basis bulb. It is so easy to connect it and rename it.

    Good light bulbs but difficult to set up
    Brightness and colors are very good. The app used to configure them is a mess and very difficult to use. First is the initial setup procedure. Install the bulb, then turn on/off several times. Find the bulb in the phone app. If you have only one bulb this isn’t too difficult, but try doing this with 4 bulbs! Turn on/off the power, some lights will go into pairing mode, some might not. Find one or two bulbs, but not the others. Eventually through trial and error we got all 4 to respond to the app. Next: How to make them all turn on or off at the same time (this is a home theater room with light sconces on opposite sides of the room. There is no apparent way to “group” the lights together to do this. So you have to adjust each bulb to the correct brightness and color. Finally you can turn the bulbs on or off individually but not all together. Now try this all again if there is a power failure and your wifi router goes offline. Now you have “orphan” bulbs in your phone app that have to be reconfigured. Easiest way? Delete all the bulbs and repeat the initial setup. Another issue: some bulbs are more sensitive to brightness and color changes. It’s almost impossible to match color and brightness among multiple bulbs. There should be 1) a way to group multiple bulbs together so they can be adjusted or turned off/on all at the same time. 2) some way to recover from a power failure that is easier than deleting all bulbs in the app and setting them up again. 3) adjust color and brightness for multiple bulbs. This would improve things for bulbs that are used in the same room. I gave one star for Alexa integration as we didn’t get that far. It was just too difficult to do the initial bulb setup.

    These lightbulbs blew my expectations out of the water. I bought these to replace some old COLOUR changing lightbulbs that I had for 5 years because one of them stopped working and with how cheap these ones are and lightweight compared to my old ones, I thought that these might not be too good at first but after trying them out I was amazed with how many abilities these have starting right off the bat with very fast and easy pairing, my old ones were a huge pain to connect. They are also really bright! My old ones were bright if I put them into normal white modes but in colour modes they were way too dim but these ones are very vibrant and bright even in their colourful settings. Of course they are dimmable too via the app or by voice if you have a smart speaker. Overall, I think they are pretty much the best in class and the music mode is alright and not perfect by any means but it can also be fun to mess around with from time to time

    White output has equiv lumens to a 10W white LED (60W equiv). Colours are not as bright likely because white is from high power dedicated LEDs and are of lower output than the RGB LEDs. App is great – lots of options, can really do anything, though app can be somewhat confusing until you get how it works. Had a few seconf and third attempts to get lights synced to the app. Followed to the letter and did not always work (set up 6 bulbs). But once they’re set up on your AP, they stay on the wifi no issues (using for a month now).

    Took a bit to get them connected to the wifi and you need bluetooth to do the initial setup but after that they have been great. I have them outside in a 3 post light so we’ll have to see how they work in the winter but so far I’m happy with them.
