[Resistant and Durable] Our outdoor timer is made by PBT material and is waterproof. It is compatible with most of the electrical appliances because has a 6 Inch SJTW14-3 grounded cord and up to 15 Amp ratings.

    This Time Has Multiple Uses
    I assembled a Corsi Cube air filter for my wood shop and wanted to be able to turn it on or off remotely. This unit does just that. It is designed to be activated by darkness to turn on outdoor lights, etc., but put a piece of electrical tape over the light sensor and it works all the time with the on/off switch on the key fob. Even better, it has a timer function so I can leave it running for 2-4 hours to clean the air after I leave the shop. You can also use it to turn the shop vac on or off remotely. Lowest price solution I could find for these two functions and it works great.

    Great quality and super convenient
    Super convenient and useful. this automatic outdoor timer with light sensor and remote control is simple to use. We use it for powering 200 feet of backyard lights and the light sensor works very well. With the remote we can turn the lights on or off without going outside. It has great range and the signal always reaches. You can control the settings from the remote and also from the device directly. Highly recommend it

    Works Great! Very convenient and a good range
    After years of climbing through junk in our garage to get to the one very inconveniently placed outlet for outdoor lights we got this switch, and it’s been great! Easy to setup, and it works from a good distance away. I kept the remote inside, and it had no problem connecting to the plug in the garage from inside our house (through a few walls, over like ~30-40 feet). Highly recommend this as a basic solution to the problem! There are probably more expensive versions that add extra features (like smart devices that can be controlled from your phone), but if all you want is a basic remote switch that you can use at home, this works perfectly.

    Great Device, but Understand the 2/4/8 Hour Photocell Timer
    Originally bought this for outdoor lights. But changed my mind and started using this indoors. I love the remote function. There is a misconception about the timer that I think people should know. I thought my unit was defective until I read the manual.The timer function (2hr, 4hr, 8hr, etc) is a photocell timer. Dependent on light levels. Meaning… it will run for 2/4/8 hours as soon as dusk (night) comes. Timer will not run for the preset hours during the day with light. You need to turn it on (but it will run until you come back to turn it off). I need this to run for 2 hours at any time of the day. There are hourly timers out there but none that have the lay flat plug like this.I will see if maybe I can some electrical tape to cover the photocell hole and confuse it to thinking it’s night time always. Then perhaps the 2/4/8 hour timer will work any time. Otherwise great product.

    Works!
    I have had this for about a month now & am using it to light up 2 small trees on a covered front door entrance. Works great! Turns on/off at the right time every night. We don’t use the remote much, but it’s a nice bonus. Only using this 2 months out of the year, so hopefully it continues to work next year.

    When it came time to hang our Christmas lights outdoors, we could not locate the timer we had bought a couple of years ago for these lights. So, I did a quick Amazon search for a replacement. What a GREAT find this product has turned out to be!It is so simple to set the preferred times, and the remote works perfectly. I am totally satisfied, and I will ensure that this timer is not lost!     Absolutely true to review
    I use this in my backyard along with outdoor string lights and it is the bomb digigity! The remote control works from inside the house so my big dogs can go outside without me and my puppy likes when I put on the back porch lights and when we walk to the back yard the lights turn on. This has been a game changer for us in having our pups feel comfortable going out after dark without having their humans with them. It’s also been a Godsend for me to be able to sit in my she shed on these very short winter nights. The installation couldn’t have been easier! Just plug it in and all is good. I highly recommend this product if you’re looking for something to light your way from a distance!
