Far from plug and play but works well
Used with the ESPHome based firmware with Home Assistant. Easy to physically install. Required a bit of effort on the Home Assistant front to fully configure but nothing heroic. Lots of examples and panel options available in HA. I used Alarmo and Alarmo-Card.Boards appear well made and were easy to wire in. Recommend mounting boards to a panel of some kind, I used a 8×10 sheet of Plexiglas with some M3 standoffs (not the adhesive ones supplied.) Although the boards are mounted in an existing metal alarm panel enclosure they surprisingly have no trouble with WiFi reception.Make sure you understand what this is before purchasing! Although a DIY solution, some tinkering is necessary.

    Love it!
These work great, wired my old DSC panel up in and hour and other than some weak WiFi which is my problem to solve these work great. Only complaint is cannot find a way to know if it went offline when integrated with SmartThings

Excellent hardware, but barebones software and UX seems like an afterthought
The beginning was pretty painful, and I’m extremely nerdy/handy.The included firmware has already been deprecated in Home Assistant so I had to re-flash all three boards to the newer ESPHome firmware. This should’ve been easy, but since I had already wired in all of my alarm sensors, the ESP couldn’t be powered by my laptop’s USB port–the voltage drop was too great to complete the flashing process. This meant I had to UNDO ALL the wiring I had just done. The other issue I had was I needed to hold the “RESET” button while powering on the devices in order to successfully flash.Once the new firmware was installed, setup was straightforward. The included wire labels are fragile and tear easily. Time will tell if they tear off or unstick by themselves.Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and it’s working great so far. Hardware quality is great. If you don’t mind quiet a bit of potential tinkering to get it working, this kit is for you.

    Incredible upgrade
Finally upgraded my 25 year old antiquated system. The panel is tiny and very well constructed, solid quality piece. I have a large house combined into six zones, and it took some effort, but it wasn’t difficult. Then I easily connected the system to my Wi-Fi using their app. I and downloaded the smart things app to use as my interface, it’s simple and uncomplicated. Now me and my family can operate and monitor my house remotely from our phones. But I took it to the next level by incorporating Alexa, I now get a customizable announcement whenever a window or door is open “ front door open” and I can ask her if particular windows or doors are open. I’m really getting into this now and took it even further – I bought some Amazon fire tablets online for less than $20 which replaced my old fashion keypads. They are mounted to the wall, and powered using the existing wires with a adapter as pictured,. $11 for the 2 pack and had the correct plug. Totally modernized system for less than $150, I couldn’t be happier

Don’t waste your time or money, buy a Ring System
So the product actually works fine, but having never done alarm installations it’s not as easy as they portray it to be. Firstly unless you download a monitoring app like Samsung Home or Prime’s version, this will be completely useless. Their app just monitors a connection. It doesn’t alert you to anything, it’s just showing you a connection is either open or closed. That’s where the other apps come in. You connect it to the other apps, and then set up your notifications in the 3rd party apps. Also, their installation instructions are pretty useless, so watch someones video on it. Lastly, If you have zones that cross connect, such as multiple rooms on one connection, you’ll need to understand cross connections, or you might need to buy more boards than you think. So, I decided to re-rating this product after several months of use. Every few days or so it would drop a sensor for no apparent reason, forcing me to have to hard reboot the board. Then I decide to change internet providers… Yeah… Now I can’t get the boards to flush their original settings, even using the hard reset, they just reconnect using the old IP addresses. Sort of defeats the purpose of having a setting flush button. Logged into the board and tried forcing it through the software, that worked on one for about 2 seconds before it rebooted and went back to its old settings. The other just kept saying wrong password… NOT… And wouldn’t connect. Also, the app won’t let you delete and re-add the boards. I never liked their software from the start, and this just confirmed it’s trash. Also, Alexa does not recognize Konnected, so could only use it by phone by phone, via the Samsung Home app. It was a pain setting it up, and apparently you better never change networks. After about 3 hours of trying to get this working again I gave up.Ok, another addition to the story. I happened to notice that Ring had a conversion kit for old alarm systems, so after watching some videos on it, I threw caution to the wind and bought the ring. What a world of difference. I had the Ring base station set up and connected to everything in an hour and then a couple more to move the old house wires off the Konnected boards over to the Ring, and tested. Done, no fuss no muss and Ring has their own app and actually works with Alexa.

Love this upgrade to old hardwired system.
Thought I was going to have to replace my alarm system after it started acting up. Pulled the wires out of the old system and put them on this little board. Once setup, you can use the sensors and Intergrated them other smart devices you might have. I use the motion sensor to turn on lights at night in the case we come home late, and all the lights are out. Added a lot of capabilities going from an old hardwired alarm keypad to smart alarm. I used a couple of old fire tables to replace the keypads and used SmartThings for a smart dashboard where you can enable/disable the alarm and turn on/off smart devices. Win Win all around.

I’m impressed with this product and it’s working like it was advertised. We bought a new to us house that came with a wired alarm system. We were not able to get into the programming of the alarm system and had also decided against bringing a land line into the new house. This left us with only a local alarm without monitoring. This product was fairly easy to set up (app setup was the worst part) and now the alarm protects our home, allows for remote turn on/off, and provides us with a notification if the alarm is set off. No monitoring fees as it comes straight to us and then we decide to call neighbours, check camera, or the police.

Got the 12 zone conversion kit to replace an existing DSC system. Total 8h of installation, troubleshooting, and programming to get it all to work with Samsung SmartThings. Konnected instructions are good, although I ran into hiccups during the setup of the boards that I was ultimately able to resolve by reading the Konnected resources and forums. I did also install the provided buzzer into a coaxial cable cover plate with a rubber grommet which turned out quite well, and the buzzer is reasonably loud for indication that a window or door has opened. Completely satisfied with the performace of the system, it has worked flawlessly for 4 months without issues. There is a 3 second delay after a sensor changes state and its status updates in SmartThings but this is acceptable for a security system. If you are a DIYer confident in electrical wiring and setup of devices, then you can take on this project. If not, consider hiring an electrician.

2nd one of these i’ve brought. They are pricey but worth the money, easy to install and set up and have a good wifi range, works with smartthings and google home.
