    fantastic motion sensor light
    This review is for the Enbrighten LED outdoor light, 3 head motion security light, black. We got this to replace our old outdoor motion light. The included directions were clear and installation was straightforward. You’ll need to provide a phillps head and probably some caulk. It came with different screws to choose from when mounting the bracket onto your junction box. We installed this on log siding so we needed quite a bit of caulk to seal the gaps.The sensor was highly adjustable. There is a timer switch that controls how long the floodlights stay on- 1, 5, or 10 minutes. The distance switch can be set to detect motion up to 10, 30, or 50 feet away. It seems like you can set the switches to anywhere between the min and max settings but I haven’t timed or measured that to check. There is also a test mode that turns the light off after 4 seconds so that you can play around with the settings without having to wait a minute or more for the light to turn off. The night light isn’t bright or noticeable if you aren’t near the light. The night light stays on from dusk to dawn; it turns on at early dusk for us. The floodlights are only operable from dusk to dawn too. If the light is connected to a wall switch (like ours) you need to flip the switch off-on-off-on quickly; this is also how we would override our old motion sensing light. The light is IP65 rated and operates in temperatures of -4 to 104 deg F.The light is good. It’s bright. The sensor works well. I was able to get the motion sensor to turn on from a person over 50 ft away (about 60 feet). Overall it functions great and exceeded my expectations.

    Install could wasn’t hard. Requires a little more work than it should but overall easy. The one problem i had was the instructions are very bad. I used a YouTube video and it was much easier to install it. If not for the instructions it would have 5 stars.

    Add a Smart Outlet in Hard to Reach Places
    This outlet light adapter is perfect for placing outside your home/apartment where there is an existing light but you want to add an outlet. Perfect for places where you have pre-existing flood lights or light fixtures under covered porches/eves. The power passthrough keeps the functionality of the existing light fixture and adds 2 smart GFCI outlets to control things like: Holiday lights, accent lights, string lights, ect. This outlet eliminates the need to wire your string lights to a lower outlet making for a clean looking installation.The app is easy to use and connects to Google or Alexa services. The app allows control of both the outlets AND an optional light fixture.If the unit is connected to a wall switch and is turned off (or if the device looses power), it will return to the previous state once the power is restored.The unit can be mounted in a wet location but is not for use in a wet location if the outlets are in use. There is a small rubber gasket around the outlet cover but it does not seem that tight. I would recommend mounting in a location that is protected from splashing or rain.The GFCI outlet is separate from the wi-fi module and can be replaced without replacing the entire unit. The GFCI is shipped from the factory in the tripped position and cannot be reset until it is wired correctly and the unit is powered on.15A (1800W) 120VAC max on the GFCI outlets and 5A (600W) 120VAC max on the optional accessory light.

    Lots of features with WiFi connectivity. Great way to add power outlets to outdoor space.
    This smart outdoor outlet is ideal for adding two GFCI outlets for lights or other outdoor devices, with Wi-Fi connectivity and easy control via an app. I installed on a light outside of my garage access door and am using it to plug in lighting and have also used it when using power tools in the yard. It’s weather-resistant and reliable. The installation is fairly straight forward but does take some work to remove existing lighting and re-install with the outlet box. I thought the instructions provided did a nice job of guiding me through the install process. Plus it comes with everything you need to install. I highly recommend this outlet for its convenience and durability, perfect for seasonal decor or security needs. The Wi-Fi connectivity makes it nice for use with holiday lights and allows me to turn things on remotely.

    A must have for outdoor holiday lights
    We have a very large outdoor holiday display. I always end up running a very long extension cord out from the garage around the side of the house which is connected to a smart plug. This remedied that problem for me by giving me the opportunity to mount it outside where we have a security light. Now I can just run my lights straight to an outlet where I did not have one before and also eliminate the need to one more cord and a smart plug. Overall improving the appearance of my display as well. Very happy with this and would recommend it to anyone who needs an outlet outside where they have a light fixture with minimal effort.
