Will Pair with Alexa ECO DOT, Very Compact!!!!
I have to say I was a little skeptical buying the INKBIRD INK-WP01 Smart Wi-Fi Plug since i am not failure with the company or product. For the low price point compared to other ones this is a great power buy. If you want a reliable compact 3 prong smart switch this is for you. The light blue light on the front lets you know you are connected. The easy access manual on/off sync button is located at the end of the plug. I was shockingly surprised on the size of it. Its compact design allows you to use the other plug in your outlet. This WP01 is offset to the left which is better than the other smart plugs that are centered and only allows you to use one wall plug due to their size. Yes this will work with ALEXA ECO DOT the instructions are correct and step by step to connect. If you don’t have Alexa there is also instructions for google also. If you don’t have any one of those INKBIRD has got you covered. They offer an INKBIRD app on play store that allows you to operate your plug from your smart phone. I will defiantly be buying more if these WP01 from INKBIRD through AMAZON!

    Easy to use!!
I use these wifi outlets to control devices remotely as I travel between our home and our winter residence. These devices allow me to turn on lights to make it look like we are home. I also use them to run my on demand water heater in my garage. I leave it off until a few hours before I am heading over there, so it isn’t cycling until I will actually need it since I go days and even weeks between using it.Other devices I have used have been quite disappointing and unreliable. The Inkbird stays connected and works when needed. I am just beginning to learn what the app is capable of.I have used Inkbird controllers to control the temperature of my fermentors for my beer brewing and find them very reliable.

Functional and well built, lacks cyle timer functionality
Pretty simple device, feels sturdy. One thing it is lacking is a short-period cycle timer (IE 30 Second on 5 Minutes Off). This would be so easy to build into the interface, im kind of astounded its not.App is predicably clunky, and doesnt allow for easy integration with other inkbird WIFI stuff like temperature and humidity devices. You always have to go through another service like alexa or IFTTT.At the end of the day, it does what it says.

    Great for detail in projects
I just set up 3 different pieces of hardware from Inkbird, IBS-M1 Wifi Gateway, IBS-TH2 Plus temperature and humidity sensor, and the INK-WP03 which is the smart dual electric outlet.IBS-TH2 PLUS Temperature and Humidity sensor sits on top of my chameleon cage and connects to the Inkbird IBS-M1 WiFi Gateway and allows it to work with the Inkbird Pro software on my devices anywhere I have internet. This is convenient to see the stats remotely and it keeps a log of it so I can correct issues if need be. It was confusing at first to think the Engbird was needed to connect the device but it automatically connected to the IBS-M1 already on my network.Inkbirdplus INK-WP03 Has multiple schedules controlling my fogger in one port and the spot lamp that is on the second port. I’m going to change out the fogger and put on my larger radiator heater to have some automation controls when the temp sensor shows cooler temps to trigger it to on. The last timer from a different brand burned out with the radiator heater because it couldn’t handle the amperage which had me worried using another device. I’m hoping this will be my ticket to solve this issue from the higher amperage and watts it can handle as stated in their hardware specs. Otherwise I’ll use a ceramic heater to use in the same automation scenario that Inkbird has in their software. The quality seems to be well made and rugged even though I’m using indoor and also under a cabinet it’s nice to have especially around any amount of water. Both devices INK-WP03 and the IBS-M1 work on the Inkbird Pro and InkbirdSmart apps. The INK-WP03 displays the device in Chinese inside the Pro version; The IBMS-M1 displays the menu and report in the InkbirdSmart as well in Chinese. These small issues should probably be updated in their newest update for Android to choose the preferred language. Having to use two different apps isn’t the most ideal but I’m sure their support in the next version will correct that like any other supported device. There are two different ways to connect the two devices to your network. They reference them as a fast flash and a slow flash. The slow flash worked whereas the fast flash didn’t. The slow flash method provides a SSID you can connect to the device and configure to your wireless network. The support to to hook up to a SSID with a hidden network name broadcast was helpful as well.I reached out with a couple questions to Inkbird and they were very responsive in getting back to me. I’m looking forward to using more of their devices in a couple other applications soon. I wish they had support for a smart thermostat so I can connect the smart scenario into that to really get my ideal conditions. I’d like to test the temp and humidity probe so I can update my review. If I get any other products in the future I’ll also update my review. Overall I’m stoked to have the devices on my network to see more detail in my projects. Keep up the great work Inkbird.

    App needs work
I ordered two of these and one was dead out of the box. The working one was easy to set up. The replacement unit came in next day (go amazon!) Replacement unit also working now. A few things I’ve discovered. Their specs said this smart plug does power monitoring. Could not find power monitoring anywhere on the app. Also it does not have an easy way of turning a load on repetitively like run for a minute every 10 minutes. The product seems solid (when it works out of the box anyway)the controlling app is weak. UPDATE 6/15/2020. I can not recommend this product. The only thing I needed this product to do was turn a light on and off at a certain times. I thought that since it was smart it would stay on schedule if we had a power issue. I find that it is completely unreliable. I frequently find the light off when it should be on. just recently they did something to the app which also erased all programmed schedules and again left me in the dark they did this with no prior notification. a solid thumbs down for me.

    WOW
I ordered two and was not disappointed with their performance. In fact, I was so impressed that I’m buying three more along with other Inkbird products for my greenhouse. The ‘probe’ arrived today and I’m about to start playing with it. I will update after I finish my project. One major plus is that the app is equally awesome in that I can label and group all the devices for easy control and less confusion. It allows changes to the category names so I can choose my own names. It was well thought out and fits perfectly with its devices.
