    Another great Zumimall camera!
I got this camera to replace my current wyze doorbell camera that has been subpar since day 1. I also have 2 Zumimall cameras on our property that have worked great since the start so I figured I would get a Zumimall doorbell camera to go with my other 2.Setup was a breeze and like the other Zuminall cameras, it has SD storage so you do not have to pay for storage. That is a great feature that adds up fast when having to pay monthly fees for storage. The features are excellent and hard to beat. Dual camera and wide angle help a lot if you have large porch. The motion sensor is great and no false alarms.Another hard to beat product from Zumimall.

I loved how the doorbell works
I loved how the doorbell works. It’s easy to install and set up, has a good range, the cameras look great, and it syncs perfectly with the app. I also really liked the way you can answer calls when someone rings the doorbell. I thought that was a great touch.

Easy to set up, excellent video, great features
This review is for the Zumimall P-10 dual-cam doorbell camera, with wireless chime. I ordered this product to replace a 5-year-old Ring camera, which did not have internal storage, so I had to pay a subscription. I’ve also had a Zumimall security camera on my driveway for about 4 years, and knew that this P-10 could be added to my existing Zumimall app. However, I’ve had some glitchy video issues using this new doorbell cam with the current Zumimall app, then found that it works perfectly with the current Cloudedge app.Setup and installation was painless, and the videos on the product site were very helpful. The only slight hiccup was I had to log onto my Wi-Fi account and enable 2.4 GHz for smart devices, which any Wi-Fi router should have as an option. I also inserted a 128 GB micro SD card (not included) then formatted it inside the doorbell. That stores the videos, so I don’t have to pay for a cloud account, though you can add that if you prefer.Pairing the wireless chime was easy as well. It has a button on one side to change the doorbell sound, and the button on the other side (which is also used to pair it) adjusts the volume. It’s not super loud, but it’s adequate. I love that it’s battery operated, unlike my Ring chime which had to be plugged in.I think the picture and video quality are excellent. The pictures I posted were in the morning and a bit cloudy, so it looks dark, but I’m very happy with the quality. For some reason, there is a slight lag between the upper camera and lower camera when streaming, with the upper camera lagging behind the lower by approximately 3 to 6 seconds, but it’s not a big deal in my opinion. By the way, make sure to remove the clear protective disk on the upper camera lens. I didn’t initially, and the pic was blurry. When you hold your phone vertical, the upper camera is on top and the lower camera on bottom. When you hold your camera in landscape mode, the upper camera is full screen, with the lower one in the upper corner. Then if you touch the upper corner, and it makes the lower camera full screen. It has many adjustments for motion detection, and in one of my pics you can see how I configured mine so it would not pick up people walking out on the sidewalk, or a flag that waves right outside my front gate. I also tested the voice masking, and it does make your voice sound like a clown, or using the “uncle” mode, like a deep-voiced older male.Another issue I found was was after emailing videos, I could not play them on either my Android phone, or Windows 11 desktop. After some research I discovered that the 2k videos from this camera are encoded with HEVC compression, for better streaming. Eventually I found that by downloading the free VLC Media Player, I could play them on my Android phone, and desktop. I believe you can also download a separate codec, but in any case, it’s a solvable issue. So overall, I’m super pleased with this Zumimall doorbell camera system, and believe it is a excellent value at the current asking price of around $100. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Very Good So Far!
The performance of this Zumimall Dual Lens Doorbell Camera so far has been outstanding, and light years ahead of the unit it has replaced. My prior doorbell camera had a couple of good features, but ultimately it was mostly unusable for its intended purpose. The main problem was its EXTREMELY laggy audio and video performance (most of the time it would take as long as a minute or two after an event occurred before you could actually see it on the app). This made it impossible to see who was at your door NOW, rather than a couple of minutes ago. It also negated the ability to chat with whoever was at the door, because by the time you said what you wanted to say in most cases the person was long gone. On top of that, it required a paid subscription to even record captured videos (there was no on-board memory nor SD card slot for local storage), and the cost of the subscription kept rising. I was VERY happy to take* it down and replace it with the Zumimall! The Zumimall, in contrast to our old unit, has very low lag time (only around a second or so), has a FREE video storage plan available, and also has an SD card slot for local storage on top of the gratis cloud storage. It also has higher resolution video for a clearer and sharper picture, excellent IR vision night performance. I really like the dual lens feature, as it allows capturing not only the person at the door but also a clear view of delivered packages placed in front of the door by a delivery person. Most doorbell cameras don’t have a wide enough view to capture both a good front view AND a good downward view also. Even if a given camera did have that wide a view, it would likely suffer from some varying degree of “fisheye” distortion. The free app that is designated for this doorbell is pretty easy to use and feature-rich, allowing for the setting of activity zones to filter out false motion detection. My prior doorbell as well as some of my video surveillance cameras only support this functionality in conjunction with a paid subscription, so it is a very nice surprise so have it here at no extra cost. I also like how the default view (front-facing camera on top of the frame and downward-facing view separated by a bar – as shown in one of the pictures I attached to this review) can be replaced with a full-screen wide view of the front-facing camera, with a smaller view of the downward camera in a corner (or vice-versa). The smaller view also can be dragged anywhere on the screen to optimize the other view as needed.Power to the camera is supplied by an internal rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery (there is a USB-C port on the side of the doorbell’s body for periodically charging the battery). This same port can be used for attaching a small solar panel to keep the battery charged continuously. Alternatively, if this unit is replacing a wired doorbell, the two wires from the old doorbell can be connected to the Zumimall via screw terminals on its back to always maintain full power and not have to worry about charging at all!The unit attaches to the wall or door frame via a plastic bracket which can either be screwed in place or attached with self-adhesive strips (included). Once the bracket is up, the doorbell simple snaps into the bracket. Once attached to the bracket, it cannot be casually removed without inserting the included key (or a paper clip, safety pin, or something like that) into a slot at the top of the bracket. This helps to protect the camera from slipping out of the bracket, as well as providing some measure of protection from theft. Although a really determined thief could probably steal it anyway by physically breaking the unit off the wall, it should deter more “honest” thieves. In the box with the video doorbell are included the following items: the aforementioned mounting bracket, Three double-sided adhesive strips, screws and wall anchors for mounting the bracket, a paper template to aid in locating and drilling the bracket’s mounting holes into the wall/door frame, a short USB-A to USB-C cable for charging the doorbell’s battery, small screws for attaching the existing doorbell wires (if any) to the doorbell, a small Phillips screwdriver for tightening the terminal screws, a pair of extension wires for attaching to the existing doorbell wires if they are too short to reach the doorbell terminals (complete with small wire nuts for attaching the extensions to the wires), a decently well-written instruction manual, and a battery-powered indoor chime unit complete with the 3 AAA batteries to power it.Besides the batteries, the chime can also be powered by USB via a USB-C power receptacle. Unfortunately, it does not plug into an AC receptacle, which would have been (in my opinion) the optimal way to power the chime. It comes pre-paired to the doorbell, so all that’s needed to use it is to apply power and press the doorbell button without any required set up procedures. There are SEVERAL chime tones to choose from, from simple “ding dongs” to Westminster chimes to a large selection of recognizable song phrases. There are two buttons on the chime’s body, one to select the desired ring tone, and one to control the volume. So far I am really happy with this video doorbell. It is nearly an ideal solution for us. What would make me regard it as “ideal” and not just “nearly ideal”? This unit integrates with Amazon Echo Show and Google Nest Hub. That’s great, but I don’t use those services, but rather I rely on Samsung’s Smart Things for device integration. If Zumimall became a Smart Things partner (in addition to providing an AC-outlet pluggable chime), that would definitely bring this product up to the “ideal” level for me. Even without that, however, I’m awarding a full five-star rating. It’s really a very good and well thought-out item.
