Wyze Cam v3 Pro: Fantastic Security Camera for the Price
Absolutely impressed with the Wyze Cam v3 Pro! Here’s why it gets 5 stars from me:Crystal Clear Video: The 2K resolution is amazing. I can see everything in sharp detail, both day and night. The color night vision is a game-changer – no more grainy black and white footage!Smart Features with Edge AI: On-device AI means faster and more accurate person detection without needing a subscription. Exactly what I wanted – fewer false alarms and peace of mind.Deters Crime: The spotlight is bright and automatically activates when motion is detected. It also has a built-in siren that I can sound remotely if needed. Makes me feel much safer knowing my home is well-protected.Easy to Use & Works with Everything: Setting up the camera was a breeze and it works perfectly with both Alexa and Google Assistant. Picture and Spotlight is great, incompatibility with past accessories is very troubling
We have had issues with trespassers in our neighborhood over the past year so we had started installing these cameras and Wyze Lamp Sockets for security purposes. The issue that we found is that the lamp socket is stated to work with the Wyze CAM V3, and only that version. The v3 Pro does not.The camera is great for what it does. The picture quality is much better than the original v3. The spotlight is an added source of light which can either scare off trespassers or at least give us a clearer view of who the person is.As a v3 Pro, there’s an expectation that it would work with the lamp socket that supports the v3. It makes no sense not to name this something different like the v4 if this is an entirely new product line. The socket where you plug in the microUSB cable has changed. The camera sensor has changed. The functionality has changed in the app. This does not support accessories that are made for the v3.I will be keeping this device but will not be using it as I originally intended as I cannot use it with my lamp socket. That is where I knocked off one star.

Well, I pre-ordered this new one for the increased resolution alone. To that extent, It’s better. Not 2x as clear, But maybe 60% better.REALLY disappointed that this one doesn’t support 5g wifi networks. Get with the times guys. 5g wifi is old tech at this point and there’s no reason a wired device can’t support it.Resolution bump is where good news ends. This thing is so buggy as to be almost unusable. It is literally a brand new product, I’m hoping that multiple updates will quickly roll out.Issue #1 Connectivity – Literally has the previous model in the same spot with zero issues. My wifi router is expensive, Very powerful, And maybe 50 feet away. Should be no issue.Issue #2 Playback – About 90% of the time, It’s unable to playback a recorded event. Not sure if this is problem with the free trial license or what, But I already have an unlimited recording / playback license I’ll be transferring to this camera once the free trial runs out.Issue #3 Recording crash – This is an old Wyze bug that they still haven’t fixed that mostly plagues the battery powered outdoor cameras, But now this one. The camera glitches, Records for 5+ minutes, Then goes offline (Or drains the whole battery, Then goes offline on outdoor cams). This is kind of a serious flaw and one of the reasons I bought a wired version. Now here I am manually resetting it.My advice, Skip this for now and wait until the reviews improve.UPDATE: Camera has developed a whole new issue, Once a day it records a 5 minute video, Crashes, And has to be unplugged and plugged back in. Customer service was incredibly unhelpful, I am now returning this junk.

Não há comparação a qualidade de imagem, que realmente é 2k, a lente tem abertura de 1,6 o que da muita margem pra imagens noturnas antes de entrar no modo infra vermelho preto e branco que tambem é ótimo. O sensor traz fluidez para o movimento que é acima de 20fps, diferente dos concorrentes que é 15, isso é ruim pois caso alguem passe na frente da camera andando o rosto ja fica turvo, pois captura poucos movimentos, mas nessa não, com 20 fps é o suficiente para capturar em movimento com nitidez. E ai entra a IA, assim que chegou pediu pra atualizar o firmware, e depois disse a camera está fantastica, reconhece uma fresta que tenho na garagem ele reconhece se é veiculo, pet ou ser humano, até então não errou. Só quando voce assina o cam pro, que custa 8 reais com eventos sem limite, que ele notifica esses movimentos e os salvas, a assinatura pra gravar sempre independente só nos eua e custa 21 reais, mas pra mim gravar eventos já é o suficiente. Depois penso em por o cartão de memória, mas a IA é tão boa em pegar eventos que não sinto falta em gravar tudo. O app é extremamente rápido e até então não travou nada. Já usei intelbras e genéricas chinesas com o app yousee, não tem comparação.

I bought this camera and loaded everything in. All went well. Signed into the app set up the camera and so on. Now that the one month return window is up everything disappeared and I had to go in and set everything up again account and all. I’m basically left with a useless piece of garbage now because everything you click on asks for a subscription. This unit is now useless. I do love however how well every was until the return window closed. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! YOUVE BEEN WARNED.
