Great product for the money connection is not seamless
I purchased this switch to replace a GE that had the click of death. Manual installation is not too bad. If you are facing the switch on the right side you insert the load wire which is black. A load wire should be on the top and bottom of the right side. The very top of the unit you insert the ground wire which is the bare copper wire. On the left side of the unit you install the neutral wire which is white. The hard part is getting connected to your hub. The supplied directions are horrible because they show the directions for a wifi switch not a z-wave. The z-wave switch does not have a blinking light or reset button. The wifi switch requires you to download the UltrPro app. This is not necessary for the z-wave switch.I have a Smart Things hub integrated with alexa. Typically I can add a device using the alexa interface. I tried several times but alexa could never find the switch. I called Ultra Pro customer support and the lady said add it to Smart Things first. Adding the switch to Smart Things it was recognized right away and then alexa discovered it, where I could add my routines and configurations. When adding the switch to Smart Things use GE as the manufacture. The company that makes this Ultra Pro Switch makes the GE Switch as well.I hope this helps some people. Over all good switch just bad directions.

Works as good as GE and is compatible with Ring Alarm!
I needed to add some additional Zwave switches to my home but wanted something cheaper than the GE switches I had. These switches work the same as GE and are made by Jasco who also makes the GE Enbrighten switches. These also have a smaller profile than my original GE Zwave switches and paired easily to my Ring alarm.Installation was straightforward and took < 10 minutes from start to finish (assuming you have basic electrical knowledge and the correct tools (Screw drivers and wire cutters)Don't hesitate to grab some of these if you're wanting to add some Zwave switches to automate your home.**Note to those with Ring Alarm**To add these switches, you need to do so through the Ring App. I've highlighted the steps below to hopefully benefit some of you out there:1. Install switch (Do not install switch wall plate yet)2. Open your Ring application3. Select Alarm from the main Ring screen/dashboard4. Select "+" on the top right of the screen to add a device5. Select "Security"6. Select "Works with Ring"7. The app should ask you to scan the QR code which is on a sticker located on the front of the switch8. Once scanned, the device will be added9. Wait a few seconds then press up on the switch (you may have to press up several times or twice quickly in succession for it to register)10. Once registered, you can setup and name the switch in the app11. Install switch wall plate

it’s a good switch but had one issue
i’ve bought this switch about 14 months ago. the switch install and connect to my smartthings hub was smooth as silk. no issues whatsoever. i did have problems with this one. installing it into the box was not a problem. the issue i had was connecting to my hub. the first switch actually had a smaller switch under the main one that allow me to set it into paring mode. they also made a version that was a push button per online docs. this switch didn’t have either. the instructions were very vague as to how to start the pairing mode. after an hour of searching i found the method. you quickly have to toggle the switch three times up and then three times down, all within a second or so. it may take you a few times to do so but i finally got it to work. after that it worked just fine.

Drop in replacement for ZW4003 in an old ADT Pulse system
This switch was a drop-in replacement in an older ADT Pulse system. Follow the wiring instructions, apply power, go to the Pulse portal and place the system in to device learn mode and then flip the toggle up and the switch joined the mesh network.

Great smart switch and fantastic customer service
Purchased this to control a bathroom fan. Installed it easily and integrated it into my Smart Things hub. It worked great for about 13 months and then the switch stopped working. I was still able to control it with the SmartThings app but not manually. I ran through the reset process but still no joy. Contacted customer support and after confirming my order they sent me a new replacement switch which I had 5 days later.I purchased a second one as well.
