Best invention in the last 8 years!
I don’t have to wake up in the dark anymore!! it’s fantastic. plus all the great tricks you can play on peopleanddd the little tiny LED on the fixture itself is a such a life saver. normally you have to swing your hand all around looking for the darn thing. and end up dropping whatever you where carrying, Not with this switch tho perfect little green dot saves the day.

TP-Link does NOT honor their warranty
Support was POOR. Went round and round with support in an attempt to get them to honor the warranty. Over an hour on the phone & numerous emails. What a total waste of time. Still never even received the authorization for replacement. It’s ONLY a $20 switch……. In the end, I purchased a new one, put the old one in the box & returned it as defective……..So TP-Link does NOT honor their warranty but I found a way………..Congrats TP-Link support, you’re now going to receive the much deserved rating of 1 star!

… purchased this along with two of the TP Link smart plugs just for fun to try it out
I purchased this along with two of the TP Link smart plugs just for fun to try it out. I have to say that I’m very pleased so far with the switch. Setup was easy and they react very quickly from the app. I also have it tied to my Amazon Alexa as well. Best part is that I can schedule on-off times so I can have a light on when I get home from work late at night. Not a unique feature but it works well. The bonus is that the indicator on the switch is lighted when it’s off so you can see the switch in the dark and I don’t have to wake anyone asking Alexa to turn on the light or pull out my phone.

Won’ t run with a tablet.
I just got the device and tried to set up Kasa, to run it. Kasa runs with Android, but not an Android tablet. It has to be a smart phone, which I don’t have. If that had been made clear to me earlier, I wouldn’t have ordered it.

Work great, but face plate is a pain.
I have 3 of these installed so far and I’m getting ready to install the 4th. I’ve had them installed for about a week. I picked them up on a special a few weeks ago. The only thing I hate about these are the face plates. If you were mounting them onto a perfectly flat surface they might work. My wall is textured so even the slightest bump is enough to prevent the clips from engaging. The other two that I put in I used a duplex face plate and it worked much better.
