Better than I expected!!!
When I saw the reviews I thought i had bought some junk that would break in a month but that’s not the case at least for now. They don’t use 3M adhesive but the adhesive they have seems to hold up, I read reviews on how bad the adhesive is but it it seems like its pretty sticky and the led’s haven’t fallen off of my desk yet its now been about 24 hours since I put them on and they seem to be sticking very well. The W part of the led’s are very bright and they are a cool white and the RGB part of the led’s are also bright and very vibrant. I am using them to light up my desk setup and they are working very well. I really do recommend this to anyone that wants a cheap led setup.

Great! Note AC Sold Separately!
These are great lights – please note that this is a light strip only, it does not come with an AC adapter or remote. That being said, I plugged these into an existing system that I have and they worked great. They’re robust and work very well – it’s fun to see them produce different all of the different colors they’re able to make. These are great for use under cabinets or behind TVs, or for shelf or work area lighting. They have many uses and will make a great addition to my space.

Terrible adhesive
Lights arrived yesterday and are very bright, working well from the app & alexa but the adhesive is terrible. When i first started to peel the backing off the adhesive the backing and the adhesive came free from the strip, but i realized that within a couple of inches and re-secured that portion and worked to peel the backing alone off the strip. Then I secured them to a finished but not glossy wood edge and they have fallen down about 6 times in about 15 hours. Can’t argue with the price but you will need to get a new/better adhesive to hold them.***Update*** Chloe in customer service reached out very quickly and was concerned with the issue i experienced. She apologized for the problem & issued me a partial refund to cover the cost of picking up a new adhesive.

Huge product mixup, seller made it all better
EDIT: Contacted the seller and after showing them the issue they offered to send me the proper replacement and no need to return the product. The cause of the mixup wasnât 100% on them in the end I discovered so I understand things happen!Only comes with the strip, but thatâs my bad for not reading the description.But the strip I got was completely different from advertised.Had NO 5 pin connectors; one end had an AC female plug and the other had bare positive and negative wires, so I canât even plug them into my current strips to extend them so theyâre just sitting here.Thereâs no adhesive backing. There is some blue strip which is sticking to the strip itself, but Iâve fussed with it for over 15 minutes and it definitely doesnât peel off to reveal double sided stick.On top of that, I can tell just by looking at it while powered off that it is NOT an RGBW strip and is just plain RGB. There are only RGB LED nodes and no White LED nodes.Brand and/or seller are definitely inconsistent with their items, I would not buy from them if I were you.

100% Quality Assurance? Nope.
First, the good. The LEDs are bright and stay pretty cool to the touch.And that’s about it.The bad? Well, for starters, any normal RGBW strip follows the below pinout:Voltage (5v or 12v)GreenRedBlueWhite (if applicable)My kit does not. Red and green were swapped, so if I hit red on the controller, it activates green and vice versa. I’ve attached an image of the issue. That being said, immediately out of the box, they do not work correctly. Secondly, the actual white LED (not the RGB combination to create white) has a slight lavender tone to it. The RGB combination to create white is slightly bluish green. If you turn on the white LED along with the RGB combination to create white, you’ll have a combination of blue-green and lavender. Nothing remotely resembling white. Lastly, the end connector where you can attach additional strips has the white heat shrink tubing covering the female W connector. I could cut away the excess heatshrink to make it work, but the box clearly says “100% quality assurance” and this is definitely not the case. I’m not even going to bother with a replacement, this one is going straight back.

Video does not come close to doing justic
Update: I purchased a few other brands with this item. These are extremely dim LED compared to all the other LEDs. I’m a computer engineer and have an exact power supply connect with true 12 volts. They are extremely dim LED compared to the others I purchased. When I purchased these strips they were 12.95, or .80 a foot. I’m going to keep them because of the cost. I can use them in a project but not the one I originally purchased. Won’t be purchasing these again.Making my mom a home made birthday gifted and need a strip of LED’s that I could cut and connect to a PI-ZeroW2. I never tried pascals before. I read comments before purchasing and some say the white light has a bit of a blue violet tint to it. Indeed it does, but I like it. Especially, for the project I’m making. If you are wanting true white this is not it. But, for what I’m using them for and the price you can’t go wrong. The video does not come close to the colors of these RGBW. The color are daily correct. They are just dim.
