    It’s just not worth it
    Thought this would be a great day instead of running wires with my doorbell thought oh solo panels could charge the batteries and keep it working during the day I was wrong what’s the point of them… These things are not working they say they’re plugged in during the day but they don’t charge the batteries I think they are a waste of money I don’t recommend. Or with the hassle of returning. I bought these to make my life easier but now I have to end up doing it and return them.

    This is a good product
    This solar panel seems to be working well after a week in Florida on my Nest camera. It does what it says and keeps the doorbell charged so you don’t have to keep taking it off and charging it so it does what it says it’s gonna do the first one I got did not work. I sent it back in a second one worked.

    Definitely not as advertised. Does not work with google nest battery doorbell camera even though it says it’s guaranteed to work with it. Piece of junk and would never recommend to anyone.

    Works as it should. Unconventional use to keep bluetooth speakers charged
    I am using this unconventionally as I am using this panel to keep my outdoor Bluetooth speaker charged. The panel has been keeping my outdoor bluetooth speakers charged during the day so they are ready to use at night. I am sure this solar panel will work great for its intended use as well to keep the nest doorbell charged.

    it’s just ok
    this took over 1 month to arrive. So by the time it arrived, I didn’t really remember for sure why I ordered it.The description doesn’t say (unless they correct it by the time you read this review), but I believe this is a 12v panel. It’s NOT a USB solar panel. So, I’m pretty sure this is the one I got to use with a 12v power bank that I was planning to use for a security camera that requires 12v. So I couldn’t just use a standard power bank since most are not 12v. My plan was to use the 12v solar panel to charge a 12v power bank to power the 12v camera, so that nothing would have to be hard wired. This is a separate issue, but Eufy only has one 4k camera that will connect to their home base through your existing WiFi network, but it’s a hardwired camera (VERY stupid). This ended up to be too much a pain to do, so I am not actually using this solar panel. However, the panel itself seems fine. The mount is pretty flimsy (though to be fair it doesn’t need to support a lot of weight), but every small solar panel like this one comes with a flimsy mount, so if you want something better, you should order the mount separately. It will work with a standard 1/4″ mount.Overall though, I would recommend it, if it’s what you need.

    Does not work well to sustain battery
    Our Google Nest doorbell only lasts a day before it needs to be charged, so this solar panel seemed ideal. Unfortunately, the setup, length of cord, and charging capacity are not ideal. We had trouble installing it because of the size of the cord, but once we could do so, we found that it does not prolong battery life. Removing the doorbell to charge is also challenging because of the installation, so it is not worth it.
