Wow these are awesome! Love them
These are the first Smart bulbs I ever bought. It was so cheap that I figured I have to try it.I was a little worried by the bad reviews, mostly all saying how horrible the setup process was. But I took a chance and ordered them anyway. First cause the price was so low, second cause I already use the smart life app for a smart ir remote, and smart plugs. So I tried to get bulbs that also use this app. And I gotta say this…. I usually try not to write reviews for products the first few days, just to make sure everything works well etc etc. But this time I’m making an exception, even though I received these just now, Like maybe a half hour ago, I’m already here writing this review. Because I was blown away by how easy the setup was. I couldn’t believe it. Based on the reviews here I was getting ready for hours of trying to connect them. But I was done in under 4 minutes. This couldn’t have gone any easier. I’ll describe the whole process…First I was impressed by how small the box it came in is. I didn’t think it could fit 4 bulbs in it. But they’re all nicely packed in. So i opened the box, took out the bulbs and screwed them in one by one into the fixture I use in my room (the fixture has room for 5 bulbs so I just left one empty). Then I switched on the fixture switch, all 4 bulbs came on and started blinking. So I knew that blinking means they’re in setup/pairing mode, so I opened my Smart Life app on my phone to try to start adding them. But right as I opened the app I got a pop-up that 4 new bulbs were found, do I wanna add them? I clicked yes, added the Wi-Fi password, and it started adding one by one. the first one actually got a error message that it couldn’t pair. And I thought uh oh. Here we go, here come the issues everyone was talking about. But the next one was added ok. Then the one after…. All were added fine except the first one, so I added the 3. Then closed the app and re opened it. I got the same pop-up again, this time telling me that it found 1 new bulb if I wanna add it (cause the other 3 were already added), I clicked yes, crossed my fingers that I don’t get the error again, nothing! It added it perfectly. Bam I was done! All 4 were added and working. Changed colors, dimmed, etc etc.But then, I needed it to be integrated to my Google Home setup. So I open the Home app. It already showed the new bulbs, and Google even grouped them together automatically, so I have each bulb as a separate Device that I can control individually, or a device called room lights that controls all 4 together. So given that they were already grouped in Google automatically by rooms, I didn’t have to bother with creating a group for them in the Smart Life app, no point cause Google grouped it already anyway. So I can now tell Google, Turn the room lights blue, all 4 will turn blue. turn the room lights to 40%, all 4 dim to 40%. Or I can say turn bulb #3 to 60%, then it changes only that bulb. It’s freaking amazing!Oh and the music Sync feature is a really cool feature! It uses the phone mic to listen n sync to music playedSo again, I just got these right now. So I can’t say how long they’ll last etc etc. But I can say that the setup was easier than I could of hoped for. And everything seems to be working fine for now.I love themEdit 1 week later; So I loved these bulbs so much, that I grabbed another box of 4 before the sale price ended. And I’m just loving all of them. I’ve had zero issues with any of them so far.

Produce Absolutely does not work
Bought 4 pack. Tried all 4 none will pair. Tried 2 different 2.4GHz Wi-Fi router none would pair. I reset bulbs multiple times nothing. Put buld in lamp next router and phone. Still would not pair. BT, WI-FI, and Location all verified OK. Tried both Smart Life App and Tuya Smart app. Neither App would pair with the devices. The Bulb are completely defective and do not work. Highly not recommended as a complete lack of Quality control if none of the 4 bulbs will work with multiple routers within less than 5 feet from the router and everything checked and double checked. A complete waste of time and money. Buy another brand with much better quality of product.

Love these bulbs Love these bulbs Love these bulbs Love these bulbs ٤٨٨٨
These are finally enough lumens to light a house with. My first wifi smart bulbs were only 450 lumens which is like 40 watts equivalent (for those of us who grew up with incandescent bulbs). The “warm” tone of white seems to me to be significantly brighter than the cool tone, but I’m ok with that. The colors are also bright which is somewhat unusual for multi-color bulbs. They connected easily and have stayed connected to my alexa no problem. Great buy

Does not work if NO WiFi. Would not buy them again.
2 Major problems:1) When not connected to WiFi network, bulb continuously keeps blinking. So, cant use if NO WiFi. Trust me there will be times when you will either loose your WiFi or Internet access or router may go down. In that case, these bulbs will stop working.2) If you power OFF main switch and turn ON next day, it looses its WiFi connection credentials and requires to repeat the whole exercise of reconnecting with WiFi. Well, WHY would you need to turn OFF the lights? Well, the schedule setup using the mobile app does not always work and most of the times keeps the lights ON all day. Manufacturer can store the WiFi credentials in the ESP EEPROM (ESP is what most China make WiFi products use as a micro-controller chip that comes with a minimum of 4MB memory and enough EEPROM where WiFi login can be stored), which they don’t and hence the problemI was so very looking forward to setting these bulbs all around my house and use the changing color options on Halloween, Christmas and New Year days and use warm white for rest of the evenings and nights. Kind of disappointed. If you have these bulbs and found a solution to above problems, please do share. I will not buy these bulbs again.Happy shopping!

One of the boxes I ordered constantly forgets WiFi
These use yet another microcontroller for their Smart Life compatibility, but it is my favorite one to date. They fade on and off, even when using the wall switch. They’re plenty bright, and seem to have good connectivity after the firmware update (though they did need to be added twice to get to that point).Unfortunately, when I came back to buy more the price had risen by over 40%. For under $60, these are an incredible deal. I will update with longevity, as my previous smart bulbs all started flickering after a year of use. These appear to use a plastic housing rather than metal which may lead to shorter bulb life, but only time will tell. They’re not a bad deal at $70, but for $46/8 bulbs the best value I have seen for Smart Life compatibility.1 month update: Avoid these. 2 of them have started to reset themselves daily when none of the other bulbs in the same fixture have the problem. This is really annoying since they need to be added to Smart Life again as a new device, removing the old (now non-existent) device from all automations/scenes it was in. Ironically the box I purchased used has had no issues whatsoever, so it is likely related to manufacturing date or an internal electronics change.
