    Absolutely love this smart light switch！
    Absolutely love this smart light switch! The installation was simple, and I was able to connect it to my home Wi-Fi without any issues. The remote control via the app is very convenient, especially since I can control the lights from anywhere. The voice control with Alexa is an awesome feature, and it works perfectly every time. It’s been a great upgrade for my home, and I feel safer knowing it’s built with fire-resistant materials.

    Smart Switch Smart Light Switch 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Light Switch Works Smart Switches for Lights with Alexa Google Assistant Alexa Light Switch Neutral Wire Required Single Pole Remote Control ScheduleI ordered the 1 pack, 1 gang version of the switch. My main goal is only to use it as a light switch that does not default to ON when power is restored after an outage. I have a ceiling fan that does that after ever power failure. This switch stays OFF when power is restored, which is exactly what I needed.Installation is no more difficult that any other light switch or power receptacle. You WILL need access to the neutral wire to make the switch work, as it constantly draws a tiny bit of AC power itself. My outlet wasn’t wired like that, so I had to do some rewiring. The wire connections were convenient to use. They are the type where the copper is held in place by a tightened set screw. I felt that these connections weren’t the best design as the set screws were difficult to tighten firmly. They are made of a soft metal that started to deform when tightened by the screwdriver. They should have used that similar, but better, design that I find common on recently made electrical products.I didn’t test the Wi-Fi or app capability as I had no need for it. The illuminated touch button works fine, and glows a different color to indicate ON or OFF. The Wi-Fi LED was very bright, even with the cover installed. I ended up putting a piece of black tape on it as the switch is on my bedroom.

    Convenient and Easy-to-Use Smart Switch
    This smart switch makes controlling my lights so much easier. The Wi-Fi connection is reliable, and it pairs seamlessly with my Alexa for hands-free voice control. The scheduling feature is super handy for automating lights, and the app allows remote control from anywhere. Installation was straightforward as long as you have the neutral wire. A great addition to any smart home setup!

    The indicator lights are very dim.
    Even in a dark room it’s hard to see the indicator lights. If that’s not important to you then this is a fine switch.The other important thing to note is that these will only work in a single gang box, they will not work in multiple gang configuration.I have the one button and two button version of these and there’s a slight color variation difference on the faceplate but since they won’t be located next to each other it’s probably not going to matter.Sleek modern capacitive switch.I had to hold the switch for 14 seconds to get it into pairing mode, from there it was easily set up in the Tuya app.It runs Tuya protocol 3.3 and is easily incorporated into home automation using Local Tuya.Check out node-red-contrib-tuya-local or TinyTuya.

    No ground???
    Wanted to test this because it uses the Tuya Smart Life app which means there is a good chance it will work with Home Assistant through the localtuya integration. However, when I went to install it I noticed it has no lug for grounding. Only neutral, line in and out. I am not sure how important the grounding is on this type of thing as this is the first time ever that I have tested a switch without it. There is nothing int he manual stating that it is not necessary nor in the listing. Something really should be stated somewhere. As well, there are a couple situations in my house where this would just barely not completely cover the opening. The cover plate is a hair too small. This could be fixed to work, just a bit more work to complete the installation.

    Works like all my others.
    Works as well as all my others, but wouldn’t work with the same app (not really a surprise since it’s a different brand). It does work with Google home just fine.My complaint however is that it didn’t fit into the wall switch box (it’s an “old work box”) very well. I had to slightly “modify” the back of the switch (remove some plastic) to get it to fit, and still it doesn’t sit flush to the wall (see pics). I know this voids the warranty, but meh. This is also not a surprise because I had the same issue with another brand.

    Works great
    This switch works great. It is easy to set up. Just make sure that you test your wires and know for sure which is hot, load, and neutral. It is well constructed and is sets up easily in the app. I like the sleek glass interface. It looks very elegant on my wall. I’d order this again, but this is the last of the switches in my house that I needed to replace. But if one of the others ever goes out, I’ll look to this brand to try again.
