Excellent smart plug, and both plugs, and both USB plugs are separately controlled.
Review of: Smart Life Surge Protector Dual Mode (Support WIFI) 4 Outlet WiFi Smart Plug, ASIN: B0C3B2VHN6.This smart plug was just what I was looking for! It allows you to control both electrical outlets individually, and each USB port individually. And it all works with Alexa! Set up with super easy in the Smart Life app, but I prefer the Tuya Smart App and it works great there too and was super simple to set up. Then, it was a simple matter of naming each outlet, plugging things in, and being on my way. This is just the way it should be.As one of the only smart plugs I can find on the market that actually allows you to control USB ports directly, this works, works well, and is really the only logical choice. I really don’t understand why there aren’t smart plugs that are simply USB plugs. But, since there aren’t, this one will easily do.

Love These!!
Bought one last year when I needed two programmable plugs in one outlet. This year, I bought another when I needed a programmable USB port for my Christmas tree star. When I bought the first plug, I didnât really know why people would want programmable USB ports. But now that I see they have come out with decorations that run on USB cords, I see a perfect use for them, and itâs working flawlessly. Reasonable price, and easy to set up. I used Smart Life to set them up, and that works perfectly. Still hoping to connect Smart Life to Alexa, but I am fine for now as is.

Great for smart homes with not-so-smart people, like me.
This surge protector is so smart, itâs probably smarter than me! Itâs got WiFi, Bluetooth, Alexa, Google Home, and even a manual app. I mean, what more could you ask for? Itâs like having a personal assistant that can control your power outlets. Iâm pretty sure it can even make you coffee in the morning if you ask nicely enough. The only downside is that it doesnât come with a built-in banana slicer, but I guess you canât have everything in life.

Easy setup, works as expected
I connected this to the Smart Life app on my iPhone, then connected to Amazon Alexa. Proceeded easily, no need to connect to the device directly with wife from my phone, like devices a few years ago. Each of the two plugs and two USB port can be controlled and scheduled on or off separately in the app or via Alexa.

Easy Setup
I had bought another brand that no matter what I did it would not link up. I have other Smart Life items (plugs/light bulbs). It took less than a minute to setup.

Couldn’t get it to work
I was immediately disappointed that I had to install a separate app to use this switch with Alexa. Then I spent an hour trying get the app to talk to their device. Once that was finally working I got Alexa to see the device. I thought all was well but shortly after Alexa lost the connection to the device. I tried various things including starting over but I was never able to get Alexa to connect to the device again. Still all I needed was a way to turn USB port on and off on a schedule and the native app had the ability to do that. So I tried it, repeatedly. I can manually turn the port on and off in the app but the timer version never works. I give up and I’ll see if I can find an Amazon branded switch. If as a software engineer I can’t get this to work I think it needs more work. Or maybe I just got unluckly with a bad switch.

Easy and Convenient
Very good item.Easy to setup using Smart Life app from Google Store.Works with Alexa via Smart Life appYou’re able to setup each plug/port as a separate device/item.My only concern/issue with this plug is that while it’s great to have all of my items as one or independently, its also too easy to make a mistake to turn all off at once unintentionally because its one plug. I found it challenging to plug in multiple items to use independently. I have to plan ahead to make sure that they were similar enough to do this. For example, i normally use my smart apps to control devices like appliances, lights, etc. But I have to avoid plugging in my laptop on the go, or my phone for charging. As long as you plan ahead and make sure other people don’t mistakenly unplug your plug you can use this without too much of an issue. If you’re setting up your Smart Home, this is definitely an asset.

Alexa enabled
I am one of those techy people that have Alexa running my house controls. There are a few items that I wanted to control that were not Alexa enabled and that is why I got this outlet. It was easy for Alexa to recognize the device and now I have some additional outlets under her control with little effort.
