    Good customer service, but no way to order any extra corner pieces…
    When I opened the box, there was no documentation or instructions. I sent a short email asking for documentation with no response; after sending a second email asking for documentation, I received a replyThey sent a very friendly email and attached a digital version of the instructions and a link to a video showing the product being unpacked, which included what was supposed to be in the box.After receiving the instructions, I laid out the sections only to find that I did not have enough inside corner connectors for their intended placement. I emailed the company again and got a fast response. I was disappointed to hear that there was no way to order any more inside corner connectors or any other parts for the light strip kit. You get 2 of each type of corner connector, and that’s it. Before ordering this product, ensure you do not need more than the included corner connectors for your specific installation. I tested the product to make sure the light worked, and it did. I will now have to decide on a different location for this light strip and get a different one for my kitchen, where I intend to install it.I also found that I would need to cut the mounting track and the covers. The light strip has plastic covers that fit over a plastic track. A saw and sandpaper are required to install it unless your walls happen to be precisely the same length as the light mounting tracks and covers. If you have more than two of either corner type, you must use a miter saw to cut the pieces. The instructions do not mention cutting anything at all. Walls are not all the same length, and cutting the track and the cover will likely be required. A very fine-toothed saw blade must be used on the covers, and they must be very carefully and slowly cut, or they crack. I am amazed that the instructions do not mention anything related to cutting the track or cover so that they will fit your wall. I feel that a product offered at its price point should have had better installation instructions and more parts. Only 3 out of 31 pages of instruction are concerned with the installation; the rest is about connecting and using the app, which is proprietary. It is available via a QR code link on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. The light strip is also “Hey Google” and “Alexa” compatible.Due to its incomplete installation instructions and relatively high price, I do not recommend this product.

    Easy Install
    These ANGELHALO LED strip lights with covers are easy to install. The install instructions are decent, I wish they had larger images. The install instructions consist of 2 pages with images and 1 page with the parts list.The lights come with all the parts you need to install the lights and covers. The lights only come with 4 corner cover pieces, 2 for inside corners, and 2 for outside corners, if you need more, you will have to contact ANGELHALO because I couldn’t see clear instructions for ordering extra parts.The instructions advise that you lay out your design before you start mounting pieces to the walls, which is really good advice for these lights because of the tracks. You will have to install the tracks first, using the 2 attached adhesive strips which are about 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. It may be possible to use just the adhesive strips, but I doubt it, they just aren’t big enough, you could add more adhesive strips if you didn’t want to use the screws. The included screws are about 3/8 inch long. After the tracks are installed you place the light strip into the tracks and attach it using it’s attached adhesive strip. After you install the lights, slide the covers onto the tracks. Since the tracks are installed first, it may be tricky to slide the covers onto the tracks in tight spaces, so plan accordingly.The user manual has a lot of detail about downloading the app, pairing to the app, and trouble shooting the app. The app is fine, it’s easy to set the lights up in the app, the app only works with a 2.4 GHz network. The app can be connected to Alexa and Google. The included remote works as expected and its pretty intuitive.I’ve installed several LED strip light kits recently and this was the first set that had covers. The covers really soften the lights, so they aren’t so in your face, and I like the look. I tested the different modes, but in the end, I prefer the solid light. My kids like the different modes.These lights are more difficult to install than the lights with just the adhesive strips, but to me these lights look better.
