    Really goos sensor
I love this product. It has very good adhesive quality and stays very strong on the wall, the functionality and connectivity are very good and easy in the setup process, and has a very good price for being what it is and in my opinion, the sound quality from the base station sounds very nice.

Entry Sensors are a reliable choice
**SimpliSafe Entry Sensor – Window and Door Protection**As someone who takes home security seriously, I decided to expand my SimpliSafe security system with additional Entry Sensors for my doors and windows. I was looking for reliable and easy-to-install sensors that would integrate seamlessly with my existing SimpliSafe setup.**What I Like:**- **Easy Installation**: The installation process for these sensors is incredibly straightforward. They come with adhesive strips that make it easy to attach the sensor to any door or window frame without needing any tools. The entire setup takes just a few minutes, which is perfect if you’re not particularly handy.- **Seamless Integration**: These sensors integrate perfectly with the SimpliSafe system. Once installed, they immediately sync with the base station, and you can manage them through the SimpliSafe app. The integration is smooth and hassle-free, and the sensors work reliably with the system.- **Compact Design**: The sensors are small and discreet, so they don’t stand out or detract from the appearance of your doors or windows. The low-profile design is a big plus for maintaining the aesthetic of your home while still enhancing security.- **Reliable Performance**: The sensors have proven to be very reliable. They trigger alerts immediately when a door or window is opened, providing peace of mind that your home is being monitored effectively. There’s no noticeable delay, and the connection with the base station remains strong.**What I Don’t Like:**- **Adhesive Issues**: While the adhesive is convenient for installation, it might not hold up as well over time, especially in areas with high humidity or temperature fluctuations. In some cases, you might need to reinforce the sensors with additional adhesive or screws to ensure they stay in place.- **Price**: The sensors are a bit on the expensive side, especially if you need multiple units to cover all your entry points. While the quality and reliability justify the cost, it can add up quickly if you’re securing a larger home.- **Limited Customization**: The sensors don’t offer much in terms of customization. They work as intended, but it would be nice to have more options for sensitivity settings or other adjustments to better suit different environments.**Bottom Line:**The SimpliSafe Entry Sensor is a must-have addition for anyone looking to enhance their home security system. It’s easy to install, integrates seamlessly with the SimpliSafe ecosystem, and offers reliable performance. While the adhesive might not hold up under all conditions and the cost can add up, the peace of mind provided by these sensors makes them a worthwhile investment. If you’re expanding your SimpliSafe system or setting it up for the first time, these Entry Sensors are a reliable choice for protecting your home’s doors and windows.

Not as simple as it would seem and no Apple HomeKit support
Not as simple as it claims AND NO APPLE HOMEKIT SUPPORT. After a lot of research, we made the wrong decision and went with SimpliSafe. The videos and online manuals made setup appear simple. We purchased one keypad , 8 entry sensors, motion sensor, doorbell, door lock, and camera. Much of it was very simple to set up and some of it even very impressive. However, it is not even close to being as easy as they make it look. If your able to use a phone app, it is much simpler to setup than naming your devices with the archaic input on the keypad. Before I continue, let me reiterate that SimpliSafe does not work with HomeKit (Siri) although when we ordered our system this was supposed to be coming. Now everything I read says that basically Apple and SimpliSafe were not able to come to an agreement and there is no integration planned in the future (confirmed by tech support). This would have been a deal breaker as I would have never went with a system that doesn’t work with Apple.Back to installation, don’t expect a couple of hours to install it. Plan on a full day. The lock is not nearly as intuitive as it seems to install and none of the adapters were exactly what the instructions said we needed for our brand new construction townhouse. We picked the one that looked most like the suggested one and luckily it worked. You are actually replacing a physical deadbolt and this can take some time. The doorbell was very problematic. It repeatedly failed to connect to WiFi even though it is less than 8 feet from a repeater. The trouble shooter only offered the option of adding a repeater which we already had and was well within range. After less than two weeks the doorbell lost connectivity for no apparent reason. SimpliSafe support was very helpful even though they talk to you like you have no technology smarts at all, which is not my case. After walking me through a reset (tiny pin hole inside doorbell) that is not mentioned in any documentation I could find, we were able to get the doorbell back online and it has functioned correctly now for several weeks.Latest is that the camera has now lost WiFi connection even though the camera hasn’t moved and nothing has changed with our WiFi. After three tries to add the camera, it refuses to join the network. Again it has a very strong WiFi signal. Another call to customer support is going to be required to get the camera back online. Finally, the apps. We have the apps installed on an iPhone X, two iPad Pro’s, and Apple Watch 4. The phone app is just OK, but slow compared to other apps. There is no iPad app. You’re stuck with downloading the iPhone app meaning no horizontal use. Very disappointing. When the doorbell rings, I would expect the camera to automatically pop up on my phone. Nope. You get a notification and by the time the app opens and you can look at the camera, they are already gone. The Apple Watch app is totally worthless. It simply doesn’t work. Most of the time when you tap it is starts refreshing indefinitely. The couple of times that it did finish refreshing, the status of the alarm was totally wrong even though the phone had the accurate state of the alarm.Do your research and don’t believe all the recommendations that SimpliSafe supposedly has. There are several other security systems that I have send discovered, or are newer, that promise a better experience and Apple HomeKit integration. We use a different system in our vacation home that is far superior to SimpliSafe.

Easy Add to a Simply Safe System
Very easy to add this sensor to a Simply Safe home alarm system. This uses a common 2032 coin battery that is cheap and available everywhere. The magnet does not need to be as close to the base as shown in the product photo. While not quite as sensitive as a professional-grade double balanced sensor, the extra range provides great installation flexibility. The sensor will work on most doors and double-hung windows. It should work on most in-swing casement windows. The base has an indicator LED that flashes once for OPEN and twice for CLOSED. This makes the sensor super easy to verify the installation before sticking the sensor to your door or window.Recommended.

Easy to install and add to system
These are so easy to install! They either stick (and stick for a long time!) but it is preferred they are screwed on because if they fall off it will trigger the alarm as it thinks the door opened. They even work on doors where you cannot get the two parts completely next to each other as seen in the video. So easy to add to the overall system and name each one.
