    HOLY COW this strip is bright
    I have tried a number of LED strips and I bought this one to replace a dual T8 light I had mounted behind my QLED television; I like a light behind my television for glare-free ambient lighting; I’ve tried quite a few strips but kept going back to remounting the shop light, being disappointed with every light strip (either due to poor-quality light, or too dim).This light is EXCELLENT! It provides a good quality white, which regardless of tuning illuminates well without washing out or significantly shifting colors, despite having a CRI of only 80. This light delivers a very bright white, and the colors are well-saturated and brighter than is typical of RGBW lighting. It accomplishes its primary objective very well.The light may be used without a hub, although it will be confined to being controlled from a single device via the Sengled Bluetooth app. You won’t get full functionality and participation in your Bluetooth mesh, nor will the strip serve as a mesh repeater without being added to Alexa via a hub.Installation can be tricky; it will flex along the length, but it does not flex well side to side nor can tricks like creating a loop at the end allow it to fold. I may experiment with trimming away some of the silicon to try to curve and fold the stripe like one would with cheaper strips that are unsealed ribbons, or thinner silicon strips, but this strip cannot be to form a 90 degree angle to the side. Also, if you cut the strip, the only way to re-use the cut sections is to cut the silicone back away from the PCB to solder on to the pads. That’s pretty standard with these things. However I expect this LED strip to be very rugged.The adhesive could be stronger; that’s always a weak point on LED strips. I’m probably going to resort to using RTV to improve adhesion to back of the television panel.I am VERY pleased with this LED strip and am considering ordering more to put on the back of our other televisions.

    Amazing ❣️
    Omg this was the easiest thing in the world to set up and put up! Seriously turn it on, stick it up and good to go! My Alexa connected with lights in just a few seconds and now I can see better doing the dishes! Will definitely keep this on the list to get more of! The price is good, lights are bright, super fast shipping and sooooo easy to use! I hate figuring tech out but thank you Sengled and Alexa for doing the hard part!

    Very bright and easy to setup but the adhesion on the light strip comes off on certain parts on the strip so you have to use the included clips to hold it in place in those places

    This is the way.
    I think that Sengled may be on to something. The Bluetooth lights take up no space on my wifi network and still can be controlled by voice. Don’t expect for them to show up on the Sengled app. I think that all smart lights should operate in this fashion. Minimal delay between command and execution. I may start moving forward with more Bluetooth lights. One more thing, these and the bulbs will NOT work with the Sengled switch. That part annoys me.

    When I ordered this I didn’t realize it was BT and not WiFi but I figured I’d give it a shot.Received the item, checked it by plugging it in. Worked well, excellent brightness which was important for my use. Unplugged it, went to install it in the location I chose and when I plugged it in again it wouldn’t turn on. The Sengled BT app would barely recognize it, Alexa found it several times but the device was “unresponsive.” I tried everything I could think of, plus suggestions online (there weren’t many, and there were NONE from Sengled itself) and after one more try, it’s just not worth the hassle. I returned it and I’m sticking with Kasa lights. Would not recommend.

    Easy to install and link to Alexa, adds more light to my workstation without having a traditional lamp next to the desk.Taking away one star for adhesion because the far end of the strip is pulling away from the ceiling are two months.

    Great lights especially if you have Alexa devices but not 6500k
    Overall like these lights. Used them for my wife closet but she insnistwd on daylight 6400k color as specs state. Lights are not 6500k but mix one color of white with blue and red to make the shades of white like soft, warm and daylight. Only the soft white is full brightness. When you set to cool white the lumens is considerably decreased and blue comes on to create this color. Other than the false advertising on the white spectrum we decided to keep them as Alexa connection took on a few minutes and hardware was great. Plugs into AC power outlet and all pieces have 3am adhesive. Disappointed about the color only

    Originally bought these for christmas to go around our living room window. Was going to take them down but my 82 year old mother loves them so they will stay up all year round. She changes the color every evening. Works seamlessly with Echo show. Great product.
