I was looking for a video doorbell camera just to keep an extra eye out since I have a lot of packages coming in and when I am not home its nice to check in and see who or what is outside. This is very easy to set up and use, quick read of the instructions and you are good to go. The only thing that I really hate about this doorbell is that it does take batteries, I hate anything with batteries, everything should be rechargeable in this day of age so that is a little inconvenient. The picture quality is quiet impressive and I am very happy with it. Easy to connect to my phone and get notified when the button is pressed, there are different chimes you can choose from, and the chime box is usb powered. Over all I am very happy with this doorbell, it is a great option for those who are renting or just looking to keep an eye on their property, easy to install either by a screw or you can use the adhesive back which is included in the box. Very good camera, highly recommend!

Better Than Expected
It took longer to download the app than it took to set it up. Probably from start to finish it was about 30 minutes. That includes downloading the app and affixing the mount to my door frame. It comes with the hardware needed along with a 32 gb micro-SD card. The mounting bracket can be either attached by screws or by the included double-sided stick-on tape. The app can run a signal strength test so that you can test it before install to make sure that it will connect and work. Once up and running the picture quality is way better than expected, especially for the price of this camera. Even the infra-red night vision has really good picture quality, even better than some of the cameras that we paid much more for. Adjustments to the night vision can be made from the app so it can be tweaked to your satisfaction but itâs very good even without adjustments. As for the doorbell, there is about a 2 second delay between pushing the button and when it rings. I donât consider that a big deal at all, but thought I would mention it. It records video when motion is detected, and it can then be downloaded and saved if you want to keep the clip. From the app I also have the ability to just view from the camera and I can also manually record a video or just take a snapshot. Iâve already mentioned several things that the app can do but there are lots of settings and adjustments that can be made. I can even check the battery life, so I donât have to guess. The app is reasonably easy to use and figure out. Of course, thatâs saying that a person has basic knowledge. It might be difficult for someone that has never used apps before. I found this camera to be one of the best in picture quality and ease of app use. I wish all cameras were this easy to use.

this security camera doorbell works great. it’s easy to install. the image quality is decent. the responsive time is not bad at all. only 1-2sec delay from the moment you press the doorbell to receive a notification on the phone. It is a great afforable alternative. Overall, I am happy with the performance of this doorbell.

Some privacy concern
The camera actually record high quality video. The feature to auto-detect human helps to reduce a lot of false movement due to car and or animal passing in front of the camera. That’s about all of the good things about this doorbell.The first impression of the “huge” doorbell is disappointing. It’s ugly. Another not so good is the need to recharge the battery roughly every month or so. When the doorbell is indoor for recharging, I guess no one can ring us?The worst feature is the cloud storage option. It’s is always enabled without giving you an option to refuse. I personally preferred to have the video stored in the local memory card without giving anyone a chance to hack my account online.

If you haven’t used a device like this before, a quick read of the instructions helps alot. Using the qr code you’ll need to download an app to your phone. Using your phone and the camera you’ll connect the camera to your wifi. It will tell you when it’s connected successfully. It took several attempts for it to connect. Once connected I mounted it next to my entry door and set the notification and door bell settings. The doorbell is connected by holding the smaller of the two buttons for 8 seconds and pressing the doorbell button on the camera. Multiple chimes and noise levels can be set. I set it so I’ll get notifications when there’s motion detected and it’ll automatically record for a certain period of time. It will also “call” you when the door bell button is depressed allowing you to hear and talk to the individual. The picture quality is clear along with audio. It’s pretty impressive for the price. It comes with two rechargeable 18650 cells and can be used in conjunction with a small solar panel for consistent easy charging. The battery level is also shown in the app. There’s a night vision mode along with hd video settings. Setup time is about ten minutes and it adds a bit of security for a small investment. I’d recommend it for anybody renting or owning as there’s no drilling or wiring involved as you can use double sided tape if you want (it’s also included along with screws)
