    Works fine so far, lighting an entire room.
    This report is for the 20m RBG LED strip (60 LEDs/m) from IAKOV. I am using this strip to replace an old halogen strip that goes all around the soffit in our master bedroom and 20m is just the length I needed for that.This is a substantial LED string, quite heavy and wider than most, holding its shape well. I did not want it just held straight to the wall, since half the light would then be “wasted” within the soffit, so placed supports at 18″ intervals to hold it facing slightly upward, 30deg off vertical; the string does not sag or twist from support to support.The strip is very bright and the colors are good. The remote is IR, which is acceptable, but not ideal — you have to aim it just so; a radio-frequency remote would be better. When power is first turned on, the string starts in a maddening blinking mode — it would be better for it to start in a fixed color or in the smooth color-changing mode.This is day 1 in use, so no report yet on durability — I’ll update this report in a few months. It does warm up after some time on — the manufacturer recommends not keeping it one for too many hours per use; the dimming function works fine, so for our bedroom, I am keeping it on the lowest dim setting.One comment regarding the packaging: the item came in a reused box, in what appears to be the box for different IAKOV product (for fixed-color LED strings), and the clips included in the package were too small for this string. Fortunately, since the web page did not indicate that the package came with clips, I had ordered the recommended IAKOV clips as an additional item and those fit just fine. (The smaller ones in the box where identical in looks and construction, but too narrow for the string.) I assume the mismatch is a consequence of Amazon returns — if not, then the seller should be more careful.

    Terrible customer support. Need replacement
    I attached these lights to our seasonal shaved ice building. We just opened may 1 and for 7 days they were beautiful. They have stopped working and controller appears burnt up. I have contacted the seller and still no reply. Terrible customer service. Need a replacement or maybe just a controller for product only working one week

    Malfunctioning Controller
    I really like the lights but after only six months and a total of 2 or 3 hours usage my yellow channel no longer works – so no yellow, orange or green. Sure hope I dont have to buy a new controller after only 6 months.

    Super Bright
    Winter in Alaska is all about darkness and cold and sadly depression for many people. This is the brightest LED light strip I have seen and it will be great for chasing away the darkness with color.

    Great product easy to install.
    I purchased this strip light to add a color lighting feature on the roof line of our outdoor kitchen. Installation was easy, the directions clear and concise. The only reason I gave this an overall rating of 4 instead of 5 is that the manufacturer cautions you about keeping the lights on for extended periods of time because of excess heat buildup. I like this product and would purchase it again.
