    This is the one to buy
    After trying and returning two different sets, I am extremely happy with this set. Very easy to set up, great colors, great variety of colors and light display patterns and the adhesive is great, it does stick in place and I couldn’t be more pleased.The only con is that the remote is not the greatest, you have to have actual direct line of sight for the remote to work, so if your system is overhead on a 3/4 wall like we have, you have to stand up and get close for it to work.HOWEVER, the phone app works very well and actually gives you more choices. I recommend this set over any of the others offered – this is the one to buy!

    BEST DECISION EVER
    I am OBSESSED with these lights. They are so easy to put up, the adhesive so far is holding nicely (they’ve been up for several weeks now). The app is super convenient as I’m always losing little remotes. I can turn them on/off or change the color/light pattern(flashing, static, strobe, etc) all through my phone without having to get up and find the remote that’s probably buried under a pillow somewhere. The colors are vibrant when the brightness is up and a perfect ambiance when the brightness is set lower. If you’re thinking about getting them DO IT.

    Great price for a fun product
    The bad reviews here are talking about the app, and I have never used the app. So I can’t speak on that. I use the remote and it’s easy to use and figure out, it’s a simple product. It’s a ribbon/tape with LEDs attached, so be careful putting it up and gentle, obviously. It’s so cheap and it has a feature on the remote where the lights will dance to the music. The colors are fun. It immediately made my apartment feel like an arcade. Great for setting moods. Horror movie nights with red lighting is so fun! I have nothing bad to say, I’m gonna buy more of these.

    Bright and fun lighting
    I bought these lights for my granddaughter and found them to be easy to install. I did have some issues with some of the taped areas not sticking to the wall as advertised and ended up purchasing some clear stick-on clips from the Dollar Tree to keep the lights in place, and that did the trick. My granddaughter loves the bright colors and found them easy to use with the remote control.Update July (4 months later): The lights don’t stick well to the wall at all – added plastic hooks or not – and already more than 2/3 of the lights don’t work. Won’t buy these again. Very disappointing for my granddaughter.

    They lasted about a month and then started flashing like lightning sporadically
    I like them fine until about a month in. No matter what color I had them on intermittently they would flash really bright like a camera or lightning. I was afraid that there might be something wrong with the electrical part of the plug-in so I have unplugged. Trying to return with Amazon is causing problems with that

    Pretty good lights, great customer service
    This is my second set of DayBetter lights. My first set worked fine for about a week. Then, the blue lights would no longer work (which cause any color with blue to display incorrectly). I did not have any bends in my lights, though I did make a cut and splice some together. To make sure the splice wasn’t the issue, I tested only the un-spliced end and the blue still did not work (proving it wasn’t user error). DayBetter sent me a replacement right away, which was great. I will see if these hold up.The remote is not very good; However, the app is great and I would recommend anyone that gets these lights to use the app. The brightness is decent, and the adhesion is good as long as it is a flat surface with no bends. All in all, I would give this a 4/5.
