Can multiple Bulbs be controlled together?
Yes, you can control multiple Nanoleaf Bulbs at the same time with the Group Scene function in the Nanoleaf App. Additionally, you can group devices together for unified control in the app of your smart home ecosystem of choice.
Can I use this bulb with a traditional dimmer switch?
No. Smart bulbs in general are not compatible with traditional dimmer switches, because smart bulbs have their own built-in dimming mechanism that may clash with the dimmer switch.
Are Nanoleaf lights waterproof?
No, Nanoleaf products are NOT waterproof or water resistant. Our lights and adhesives are not designed to be exposed to high levels of humidity, and are therefore not recommended to be placed in washrooms, near the sink in kitchens, or outdoors.
Can I control the bulb with Bluetooth without Matter over Thread?
Yes! Bluetooth can be used for basic controls with just the Nanoleaf App, access features such as 16M+ Colors, Dynamic Color Scenes, Circadian Lighting, and Brightness Controls. Use Matter over Thread to access all features.
What are the benefits of Thread?

What are the dimensions of the light panel?
The size of each light panel is 3.38*2.94*1.2 inches, and one controller can control up to 256 light panels to form various shapes.
Why aren’t my lights turning on?
First, check if your charger is 5V2A. If it’s 5V1A, please upgrade to a new charger. Then, check if all connectors (the longer ones) are securely connected. If the above checks don’t work, please contact for further assistance.
Why can’t my lights pairing to Wi-Fi?
Check if your Wi-Fi is 2.4G. If it’s mixed, use your phone hotspot for pairing. Reset the lights when connecting to the phone app. Watch our pairing video for reference. If still no connection, contact and we’ll help resolve it ASAP.
Why is my new light panels not turning on?
Pair the light with the app and select it on the homepage. Click the settings icon and choose “Set Distance.” Enter the number of light blocks at the maximum distance.

Affordable and reliable smart lighting
While I did have to get Apple TV and a home pod for Apple Home reliability, Iâm really happy with these lights. Unlimited color options and scenes for a fraction of the price of Phillips Hue. Iâve had these a couple of months and zero issues.

Trash: Donât waste your money or time.
These lights are trash and only Nanoleaf support is worse.Purchased these and they will not connect directly to my SmartThings matter hub and have to use Nanoleaf app despite dozens of other matter devices successfully able to.Whatâs the point of matter if I have to use their native app? Furthermore, their app only have an integration to apple home. I donât want to but only way I can get these to work and only for a few minutes before they disconnect. Thatâs right even when using their built in integration to apple home the devices drop connection. The Apple TV thread router is less than ten feet from devices.Their app is spotty only shows one of two thread networks in my house. And when it does show the networks it doesnât show the full network of joined devices.To top this all off their support is awful. Took over a week for first response to my support ticket. They responded to my follow up responses.They use the classic we are having technical difficulties with their ticketing system which having worked in the industry is BS. Companies use this line when theyâve screwed up and missed tickets.And now the return window is closed.Donât waste your money or your time. I will never buy a Nanoleaf product again.

I was VERY disappointed to learn these do not fit like most other ones I’ve purchased. They do NOT fit into existing cans and should only be used for new lighting or if you only have a preexisting hole and the can have been removed.

Good lights, great for growing thread network, matter support in development
Matter is still in development, just something to keep in mind when grabbing these lights, expect some growing pains. Great lights, great responsiveness. I would HIGHLY recommend getting 3/8″ romex connectors/knockout connectors to place, its not in the instruction, but will give the junction box stress relief.
