I have a kiddie pool that one would consider oversized. I had to install a pump to filter the water as it gets dirty quick and algae forms, even with a cover and chemicals. Too much water to dump out every three weeks, and too difficult to clean daily (takes time, and I work). So, I got a pool pump, but max it can run is 6 hours a day or it will burn out (cheaper model) states the instructions. I got tired of going outside and turning it on, and then having to remember to turn it off.So, I got this Monster Smart WiFi heavy duty Outlet and it does the trick. It runs on 2.4Ghz, but I run a dual band mesh network so in my case I was okay. I set it up per instructions, and it doesn’t require a hub. Using my Android phone and used Google Home to create a schedule so it runs at night (cooler temp, not running when daughter plays in it). You can download and use the Monster App instead as well, but I like my phone to be neat and tidy, and not cluttered with apps.As with all Monster products this product is built with heft and some serious quality. To save on wear and tear and to protect from outdoor elements I also used an outdoor protective box and placed the Monster Smart WiFi Outlet in there, which has waterproof grommets to protect the water from getting in. When thing to keep in mind is that all three outlets turn on when you turn the Monster Smart WiFi Outlet on, so you can’t control each one individually. It’s fine in my case, but keep that in mind if you wanted to run multiple items at different time intervals or something.

Another Quality MONSTER Product
If you do not know MONSTER products by now, you should probably read up and get on board. They have been around for awhile now. My first introduction to their quality products were when I used Monster Cables back before everything was BLE.So now I have graduated to a Smart Outdoor Plug – Wifi enabled – mini extension cord – with THREE outlets! If you view my picture you will see the convenient little mounting tab I used to insert a screw and mount to the house. This is a low traffic spot, mostly protected from the elements (which does not matter too much because it is made with a “weatherproof” design) and is going to be a central hub for my outdoor Christmas decorations.I did not download the Monster app because I am running everything Smart through Alexa.Alexa immediately recognized the device, added it to her list, and I created a routine all under ten minutes. Currently I am using it solely for my patio string lights, but soon everything in one sector of the property will be controlled by this Smart Plug! I am pretty stoked.Overall I would strongly and highly recommend this Wifi Outdoor Plug from the MONSTER Store to my friends and relative – and feel confident about most of their products as my experiences have always been 5 Star – and this product is no different – 5 Stars!

la use debido a que tenía que conectar y desconectar una bomba de agua, con esto no debo salir de la casa, aún no he probado como le va con lluvias o con el tiempo, el único problema es que no pude configurarlo con la aplicacion monster que recomienda el instrutivo pero con la aplicación smart life se configuro rapidamente y funciona perfecto con google home, además de marcar la compatibilidad con alexa.
