I purchased the MOES Zigbee 2 Gang smart switches without a neutral wire for my home, and I am quite satisfied with their performance and ease of use. These smart switches provide a simple and efficient way to control lighting without the need for a neutral wire.Their compatibility with Alexa and Google Assistant platforms makes lighting control even more convenient, allowing voice control or mobile app operation. I also appreciated the support for Tuya Smart Life, which adds extra flexibility in choosing smart home devices.However, itâs worth noting that I had to return the switches because I couldnât install them in all sockets. Partial smart home setup wasnât acceptable for me, so it was a deal-breaker. Functional and attractive
This was the coolest looking dimmer switch other than the Wemo one, but this one was $10 less and I didn’t love the huge light bar at the bottom of the Wemo dimmer switch.This was super easy to install and fit in my box perfectly. The pliable wires made it even easier to stuff the dimmer switch box in the light box.I had to use a larger cap that I luckily had on hand for the 2 neutral wires since they wouldn’t fit in the small cap provided.I had some initial trouble getting this to link to the Smart Life app, it would discover the device, start the countdown, then once it got to 100% it would say it timed out. I emailed them, they got back to me within 24 hrs, and they told me to check my internet speed which was fine, and to turn the power off to the switch which I already did, but for some reason I tried again and it actually connected this time.Alexa discovered the switch immediately because I had already enabled the Smart Life skill on Alexas app.So far I’m impressed. There is a small light at the bottom that slowly comes on and off and one dot at the very top that is constantly on even when the light is off, but it isn’t obtrusive or too bright.I wanted one with a night light anyways to make it easier to find in the dark.My one gripe is that the wall plate doesn’t sit flush with the wall which bugs me but I’ve tried adjusting the wall plate And flipping the light upside down and it doesn’t change it. Oh well

Affordable, durability yet to be determined
The price was great compared to other offerings. Unit installed with no problems. Wires are inserted straight into the back with small Phillips screws. Connected to home network with no issues. I’m not confident how well this would stand up to normal use however. But in would occasionally get stuck in place. It’s not an issue for me because I’m pairing this with a presence sensor so I will almost never be pushing The buttons. Just something to keep in mind.

Avoid, have had multiple fail
When I decided to go with smart switches, this is the brand that I selected. I’ve had so many of these switches fail that I’m disgusted. Some no longer work as a switch. Others cause the lights to flicker. Some randomly turn off the lights. I think there’s a serious problem with the internal electronics because it’s not my wiring or connections within the box. The one that worries me is the flickering light. If these are arcing inside the box, there’s a good chance for fire. I’m going to remove and toss all these switches as they’re either garbage or untrustworthy. I’ll never recommend this brand to anyone.

En mi casa tengo Home Assistant con ZHA y estoy tratando de migrar todo lo que tengo en wi-fi a zigbee asà que combre estos para reemplazar unos Shelly ya que la caja donde tenÃa los Shelly estaba muy congestionada por tanto cable y pensé que era una buena idea reemplazarlos por estos que son zigbee y ademas el cableado es más sencillo, pero se desconectan frecuentemente mientras que unos sonoff mini que tengo en la misma ubicación nuncha lo hacen.No los recomiendo.

Great Customer Service!!
Ordered this product a few months ago and it was pretty much as expected. The cover plate could probably be redesigned to be a little more slim and better looking, but it worked great. About a week ago the switch dimming function stopped working. The light would still turn on and off but it would not dim. I contacted Moes and they asked a few troubleshooting questions and then preceded to send me a brand new unit when we couldnât figure it out. I never write reviews, but good customer service is hard to come by these days and Moes is doing it right.Thank you Moes for your quick and great help! I would definitely recommend a Moes product to anyone looking for a smart switch for their customer service alone.

The smart switch arrived quickly (as is usual with Amazon fulfillment). I installed it a few days ago, and was impressed with the switch and the complete instructions. The only downside is that it came with a switch cover designed for a single electrical box and I was installing it in a box with another switch in it as well. The upside is that it fit the two switch box cover just fine. It works well with Google Nest Mini.

I have outfitted my whole main floor with moes smart switches, and so far the regular switches seem to work great. This dimmer switch on the other hand is awful. I have gone through two already. The first didnt work at all, and the second after a short period of time quit dimming, and basically reverted to a normal switch. I have double and triple checked my installation, and compatability and see no reason other than poor quality for the malfunction.
