Outstanding WiFi Switch!
The Meross Smart WiFi Wall Switch is an amazing product! This is the best bang-for-your-buck smart switch that I’ve tested so far!Installation was a breeze and included all the necessary screws, wire nuts, and wall plates. Once the switch is installed, it is incredibly responsive when physically pushed and through the app. Other thoughts:PROS:• Price, Price, Price. These switches are an incredible value! Especially since they can be integrated with Alexa, G- Assistant, and IFTTT.• Pressing the switch turns on/off the lights instantly. I’ve noticed that some switches (like Legrand) can have about a 1 second delay before the lights turn on/off. That delay can make using the switch feel a little awkward.• There is a setting in the app to turn off the LED indicator! This is a simple feature but many smart switches (Kasa and Legrand) don’t offer it.• The app is easy to use. It has great features but not too many.CONS:• No native Apple Homekit support. Though, I wouldn’t expect that at this price. (I am currently using this switch with Apple Homekit via Homebridge and it’s working great.)• The haptic feedback when physically pressing the switch is a low pitch “thump” instead of a high pitch “click” (like Kasa and Leviton). I prefer the “click” because the “thump” makes the switch feel hollow. Not a big deal, though.• The plastic on this switch has a matte, off-white finish. Other switches, Kasa for example, have a glossy finish which better matches most standard wall plates. This won’t matter if you plan to use the included wall plates, which also have a matte finish.• This switch uses preinstalled wires instead of terminal screws. Some switches (like Kasa and Leviton) connect directly to the house’s wiring using terminal screws. Having pre-installed wires means that you have to connect all four wires on the switch to the four house wires with four BIG wire nuts. If you don’t have a lot of space in your electrical box, this could be a challenge.In conclusion, this switch works great and is well worth the money. I highly recommend it!

Works well as a standalone switch without Alexa or any other automated device
I’ve paired this unit via my android phone to our internet, operation was pretty simple and no suprises at all. I just wanted a timer switch that could turn on at sunset and off at sunrise, but after years of dealing with timer switches failing, making LED lights flicker, not keeping time when power is interrupted, being an absolute pain in the butt to program, etc, I decided to find something that would just work.This switch does just that! Its simple to create a schedule for 1 or more switches so you can turn on separately-switched lights at the same time! Works well for my application where my home’s front exterior lights are separate from my shop’s exterior lights! I can now turn both switches on and off at the same time without any interaction!I took one star away due to the fact that if your internet goes down, sometimes the switch will forget everything and you have to redo it all over again. Happened twice, although it hasn’t happened in a few months now, perhaps it was fixed in one of the firmware updates the app did while I was trying to reprogram it after forgetting its settings!One other thing, you don’t even need the app once the switches are programmed! I have frozen the app on my phone (via Titanium Backup) and the switch continues to work just fine. One could uninstall the app completely without any problems with the switch, but you’ll need to reinstall it again if you need to change something on the switch’s settings.

Works Well
I have installed many of these switches in my current and previous home. They have worked well with very few issues. I will continue to install these for non-dimmable lights.

Funciona estupendamente. Solo necesitas uno para hacer funcionar tu apagador escalera. Yo lo programo al caer la noche y vuala no tengo que preocuparme de encender la luz. Al ir a dormir simplemente le pido a Alexa que la apague.

A very good product, was easy to install. The mobile app works well. Good value for money.I am tech savvy so not a big deal for me, but syncing the switches with the app and connecting to the home network is not very intuitive, improvements to UI particularly around connecting to the home network and explaining what scenes do would be helpful. Also, it would be great if you can provide the option for customizing the faceplate config.Overall pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a programmable switch.
