Bought 2 Meross smart dimmers and linked them to Apple HomeKit. One worked fine, the other not. I contacted Meross support by email and explained exactly what was wrong and they replied requiring me to make two videos showing how the dimmer did not work, to provide a screen shot of the Homekit set up code, to provide the Amazon shipping info. I did all this and emailed it to them even though the switch only cost $39. The time and trouble exceeded the cost of the product. Follow up emails to Meross have gone unanswered. Iâm wondering if they just make unreasonable demands to wear customers down hoping they will give up? Iâll be glad to return the defective dimmer for a replacement but they have not replied and Iâve been emailing them for weeks. Poor customer service at best.

Unable to Connect, Had to Return It
For the HomeKit single plug dimmer switch product, I was unable connect after several HOURS of troubleshooting, resetting factory settings, changing my WiFi router configuration (since the devices only supports 2.4 GHz WiFi), reading the manual and multiple Reddit threads. Nothing worked. Completely unable to setup the device, so now I have in return it. This is the last time I buy anything from Meross.

Great Outdoor Dimmer Plug
This works great. Can be used outdoors with an IP44 rating and has Intertek certification. Easily and quickly connected to HomeKit and has a very quick response time to changes. The button on the surface can also be used to operate the switch cycling through 4 levels of brightness and off. It should be noted that I didn’t find a way to go from Off to 100% via a single button press though that would really only be necessary if your device is sensitive to dimming. It can be set directly to On/100% via HomeKit. Overall, a great dimmer as expected from meross.

This outdoor smart plug dimmer verified working with my iPhone using HomeKit and it works with the included App as well.Just make sure that you are using a dimmable LED bulb or a regular incandescent bulb for the dimming function.So far I am quite pleased with this device.
