    Great quality
This product from Logitech is great and really easy to restore. For me, it didn’t work out because I have to place it from inside my home and the camera didn’t work well with glass in its way. The only way I would know that is by purchasing it. Thanks to the seller for making refurbished models available!Next place I live at, I’ll drill a hole for its cable.

    All these cameras are horrible
This is my third attempt at buying Logitech’s Circle view cameras, including their door bell and all of them ended up getting returned. Cameras have a very hard time connecting to HomeKit and after about a day or two they will just disconnect and HomeKit reports them as not responding. Quality build materials for sure and design is great but operationally these things are horrible!

    Good Apple Home Kit camera
They have good picture quality and in most cases the video feed loads instantly. Only thing that sets it back in my opinion is the USB end. You have to drill a pretty big hole to get the wire inside the building. Would have been nice if it was USB-C which is so much smaller than the USB-A male end. Other than that it’s a good camera. I occasionally have to power cycle them because they get stuck, but I think this is a fair trade from having to replace batteries. Overall a solid 4 stars. USB-C would make it 5 stars in my opinion.

Amazon Renewed – Great … THIS TIME
This “Amazon Renewed” Logitech camera was listed condition “Used – Good”. In reality I consider it much closer to “Like New”. So good on the seller, Electro Store LLC.I had ordered two of these cameras and the other unit was listed in better condition. But it arrived damaged. The mounting bracket had been damaged. A previous owner had broken it and then decided to use GLUE to attach the unit to the bracket. Uh … just no! In addition, all the documentation and the mounting fasteners were missing. The camera itself was still registered to another WiFi network, so I had to research how to do a reset. It’s not difficult, but the reset button had glue residue on it! Luckily I managed to do the reset and insure it was functioning and could be added to Home Kit.But obviously I returned it for a replacement since physical installation would be close to impossible and not securely attached to my home.I’m a bit nervous that the replacement might be defective. I will update the outcome.

Fails at primary purpose- blind at night
⭐️ This camera’s night vision is too poor to fulfill its primary purpose as a security camera. Despite my initial enthusiasm, it failed to perform in low light conditions.I included three pictures for comparison: the Logitech camera in the evening, the Logitech camera at midnight with full IR night vision, and a $25 Wyze camera at midnight, all mounted at the same height and distance. For reference, the cameras were mounted about 15 feet high, with the tree line 12 feet away.I also tested another model of the same camera and encountered identical issues, indicating a design flaw rather than a defective unit. There are several positives of the Logitech camera: a 180-degree view, sturdy metal bracket, good build quality, attractive design, and compatibility with Apple HomeKit.However, Apple HomeKit restricts the resolution to 1080p and I noted it failed to detect people or motion. These shortcomings are attributed to Apple HomeKit, not Logitech.

    Scan sticker
Couldn’t get the camera to connect and then I noticed the scan code on the instruction card didn’t match the code on the bottom of the camera base. Probably due to this being a refurb. Once I used the code on the camera base everything was fine. Connected up and it’s a great camera.

    Connection issues make unreliable
This is a great camera that is easy to setup and use but it only works on 2.4 WiFi and it constantly needs to be reset. I have a great WiFi connection but something with the camera makes it so it needs to be manually unplugged and plugged back in for it to work. Don’t even think about using this for security because right when you need it to work it will lose connection. 😢 I would not recommend.

Works most of the time but frustrating to use
Have it set up with HomeKit Secure Video. Camera is about 3 feet from a wireless access point. Connectivity has been good, haven’t had any issues with it disconnecting. If the camera loses power due to a power outage, it will not restart by itself. You have to physically unplug/plug it in again for it to get back up and running. Luckily I have a UPS near the camera that I could plug it into, so it’s not an issue for me. But if you don’t, then you could for example have a brief power outage in the morning while at work and it would remain off until you get home in the evening and manually reset the power.Motion detection works ok, but sometimes it fails to record any movement for hours. This happens maybe 1-2 times a month, so for the most part it’s ok but I don’t feel I can fully trust it to record everything.HSV has several short comings. The video quality is limited to 1080p. Viewing the camera in the Mac home app is very buggy, so the iOS home is really the only option to interact with the camera. The camera can only be viewed from one device at a time. If you want to download all footage from a specific day, you will have to download each clip individually, which is very time consuming. Right now I want to save the footage daily for future reference due to a lot of contractors working on our house, so I am spending 20-30 min each day downloading the footage manually on my phone. As mentioned, the Mac home app is useless so I can’t save it there. There is no option to save all footage at once. The footage is only kept for 10 days.I have mostly Reolink cameras in my house recording to my Synology NAS, but bought the Circle View for my living room since I like the design and the fact that it blends into the background. It does not stand out like a sore thumb like my Reolinks and most people do not notice the camera. But, due to the frustrations mentioned above, I am going to replace it with something else.
