Will Litcessory products make my light strip dimmer?

No, Litcessory products do not affect the brightness of the lights, as long as the total length of the light strip (light strips plus any length of the Litcessory product) stays within 10 meters, your lights will be just as bright! !

What is reverse polarity and how do I fix it?

Reverse polarity occurs when you connect the wrong end of a 6-pin connector. The flow of electricity is reversed and the light strip does not turn on. This is a common occurrence when setting up your project and is easily fixed.

Is the total recommended length of the light strip (10 meters) affected by the extension cord and/or an ethernet cable? Is 10 meters more the length of the ethernet cable?

We recommend keeping the total run of the light strip under 10 meters. This includes the full length of your light strips and any Litcessory products and ethernet cables. Some customers have reported success exceeding this limit, however we have not tested this.

How many times can I divide? I want to connect more than 3 extensions using splitters, will it work?

Yes, you will need to connect an additional splitter to the splitter to create the number of connections you need.

Can I split the cut ends?

Yes, you can do this by first converting your cut end to a 6-pin end by using our 6-pin Cut End Extension or our 6-pin Cut End Adapter and adding our extension cable to it.

    does NOT work with Nanoleaf Lightstrips!!!
    As others had mentioned thes do NOT work with Nanoleaf llghtstrips. The connectors very easy fall out. When contacting support they suggested to use electrical tape or heat sinks, both of which are NOT mentioned in their product listing, nor am I going to damage my perfectly good working Lightstrips with this crap.Be warned and DONT BUY!!!

    I was a little bit nervous about the connectors because they didn’t seem to fit properly. I was thinking it might be the wrong size but haha I managed to get them hooked up and they are working great

    Not Nanoleaf Compatible!
    Sadly, this product is not what is advertised. It’s out of tolerance with Nanoleaf pin connectors and I could not get any signal through either of the two I was sent. I suggest the manufacturer study how Nanoleaf’s connectors actually look and work (there is a sleeve that surrounds the OEM connectors that this one is missing. The pins are also different size. Very disappointing because the real ones are always sold out.

    Despite carefully comparing my Nanoleaf Controller and Lightstrips to the product photos and description, this product is not compatible with the Nanoleaf Essentials Lightstrip.I should have read the reviews before ordering :/
